A shear web mould system for manufacturing a wind turbine component in form of an I-shaped shear web having a web body and a first web foot flange at a first end of the web body and a second web foot flange at a second end of the web body is described. The system comprises a central moulding portion for forming at least a part of the web body, a first moulding plate for forming at least a part of the first web foot flange, and a second moulding plate for forming at least a part of the second web foot flange. The angles of the first moulding plate and the second moulding plate relative to the central moulding portion are adjustable.

The present invention relates to a method for installing a bulkhead in a wind turbine blade. The bulkhead comprises attachment means for attaching the bulkhead to the root end of the blade; a movement device moves the bulkhead into the installation position; the moving comprising engaging the attachment means of the bulkhead with receiving means of the root end, the receiving means being arranged and adapted to receive and hold the bulkhead by engaging with the attachment means of the bulkhead; and adhering the bulkhead to the wind turbine blade. A bulkhead for use in the method is also provided.

A vortex generator device for a wind turbine blade, and a wind turbine blade is disclosed, the vortex generator device comprising a base with an inner side and an outer side, and a first fin protruding from the outer side and extending along a first fin axis, wherein the vortex generator device is a single-fin vortex generator device, and the base has a first edge part and a second edge part, the first edge part and the second edge part forming a primary angle in the range from 5 degrees to 60 degrees.

The subject matter is directed to a method of mounting flow-altering devices on wind turbine blades, the mounting device and the flow-altering device. The flow-altering devices having a base with an inner side for attaching to a blade, and an outer side with flow-altering device parts protruding from the base. The method provides for a mounting device with a mounting panel supporting one or more flow-altering devices; arranging the mounting panel on an area of application on the surface of the blade with an adhesive material between the inner side of the device and the surface of the blade, and with a seal between the mounting panel and the surface to form a cavity between the mounting panel and the surface of the blade; applying a negative pressure in the cavity; releasing the negative pressure; and removing the mounting panel.

A wind turbine blade having a surface mounted device attached thereto via at least a first attachment part, which is connected to a part of the device. The first attachment part comprises an outer attachment part providing a first bonding connection between the device and the surface of the blade, wherein the first bonding connection is an elastic bond, and an inner attachment part providing a second bonding connection between the device and the surface of the blade, wherein the second bonding connection has a structural bond. The structural bond prevents the surface mounted device from creeping and the elastic bond region relieves stresses on the bond line, such as peel stresses, whereby the surface mounted device is less likely to be ripped off the surface of the blade due to forces affecting the device or the blade.

A hybrid material mat for use in the manufacture of fibre-composite articles, in particular parts for wind turbine blades, is described. The mat comprises a plurality of glass fibre rovings provided on top of a relatively thin planar substrate of carbon fibres. Such a hybrid mat construction provides for an improvement in the structural properties of a component manufactured using the mat, as well as allowing for ease of handling and manufacturing of both the mat itself and the component.

A method of manufacturing a wind turbine blade component in form of a shear web is described. The method comprising the steps of: a) providing a pre-manufactured shear web body having a first side and a second side as well as a first end and a second end; b) providing a first pre-formed web foot flange comprising a fibre-reinforcement material; c) arranging a first fibre layer from the first pre-formed web foot flange and to a part of the first side of the shear web body; d) arranging a second fibre layer from the first pre-formed web foot flange and to a part of the second side of the shear web body; e) supplying a resin to said first fibre layer and second fibre layer simultaneous with or subsequent to steps c) and d); and f) allowing the resin to cure so as to form the shear web.

The invention relates to a device for cleaning dirty transport containers, especially catering carts, the device comprising:&mdash;a cleaning chamber with essentially vertical chamber walls, a closable insertion opening for the transport containers, a supporting surface for the transport containers, a plurality of nozzles for emitting a cleaner for cleaning the transport containers, and a dryer for drying the cleaned transport containers, &mdash;an insertion track disposed against the insertion opening and outside the cleaning chamber for temporary keeping and insertion of the dirty transport containers, and&mdash;automated insertion in the cleaning chamber of dirty transport containers placed on the insertion track. The invention is characterized in that&mdash;the automated insertion comprises&mdash;a first insertion arm and a second insertion arm, said arms&mdash;are disposed at a mutual distance, and&mdash;are arranged to be able to be led from a first, active position in which the insertion arms can engage with a transport container placed in the device, to a second, inactive position in which the insertion arms are disengaged from the transport containers placed in the device, and&mdash;a support frame that carries the first and the second insertion arm and is provided with organs arranged to be able to displace the insertion arms in the active position from a position outside the cleaning chamber to a position inside the cleaning chamber, and back again into the inactive position.
