A picture element for a display device includes a first and a second supply connection, a light-emitting semiconductor device arranged between the first and the second supply terminal, and a comparison unit having a first and a second input and an output. The comparison unit is configured to adjust a voltage at the output in dependence on a comparison of a voltage applied to the first input and a voltage applied to the second input. The picture element also includes a supply switch-configured to control a current flow between the first and the second supply terminal via the light-emitting semiconductor device depending on the voltage applied at the output of the comparison unit. The picture element further includes a selection input, a data input, a memory element and a control switch.

An optoelectronic assembly and method for operating an optoelectronic assembly are provided. In some aspects, the optoelectronic assembly includes an organic light-emitting component, a temperature sensor configured to record a temperature value, and a driver circuit coupled to the organic light-emitting component and the temperature sensor. The driver circuit is configured to apply an AC voltage to the organic light-emitting component when the organic light-emitting component is switched on, and if the recorded temperature value is less than a predetermined temperature threshold value, where the AC voltage is, at least, temporarily less than an instantaneous threshold voltage of the organic light-emitting component. The driver circuit is also configured to apply a DC voltage to the organic light-emitting component if a measurement value is greater than or equal to a predetermined threshold value, where the DC voltage is greater than the instantaneous threshold voltage of the organic light-emitting component.

An arrangement for operating an organic radiation-emitting component (D) is specified. The arrangement comprises a driver circuit (T) with at least two driver outputs (TA, TAn), a decoupling unit (E) with at least two inputs (EE, EEn) and outputs (EA, EAn) corresponding to the inputs (EE, EEn), the radiation-emitting component (D) with at least two electrodes (DE, DEn), and a contact sensor (S) with a sensor electrode (SE) which is at least partially formed by one of the electrodes (DE, DEn) of the radiation-emitting component (D). The driver circuit (T) and the contact sensor (S) can be coupled to a common energy source (Q). The contact sensor (S) is decoupled from the driver circuit (T) by means of the decoupling unit (E) in such a manner that contact of the sensor electrode (S) by a user can be detected during operation of the radiation-emitting component (D).

The sensor circuit includes at least one energy supply circuit and an ascertainment circuit having at least one energy storage unit and a detection unit. The ascertainment circuit and the at least one optoelectronic component are electrically connected to one another in parallel. The at least one energy supply circuit is configured to supply electrical energy to the at least one optoelectronic component and the energy storage unit. The energy stored in the energy storage unit is supplied independently of the electrical energy supplied to the at least one optoelectronic component. The ascertainment circuit is configured such that the detection unit detects a change of the electrical energy stored in the energy storage unit depending on a change of the energy stored in the at least one optoelectronic component.

An optoelectronic circuit includes at least one first and second light emitting diodes; a switch arrangement connected between the first and second diodes and configured to switch over the first and second diodes between series and parallel circuits depending on a predefined ambient parameter; and a current matching circuit for matching the currents through the first and second diodes in case of parallel connection. The current matching circuit includes a current mirror circuit, including first and second current mirror transistors connected via its collector terminal to the first/second diodes, respectively. The arrangement includes a diode/a switch for connecting the first diode in series with the second diode and is configured to form the series circuit including the first and second diodes while bypassing the current matching circuit so that, in case of series connection, the first transistor is switched in a high-resistance fashion and the second transistor is short-circuited.
