The present invention relates to a conducting material composition which is allowed to provide an electrode having a higher content of uniformly dispersed carbon nanotubes, thereby providing a lithium rechargeable batteryelectrode having more improved electrical characteristics and life characteristics, a slurry composition for forming a lithium rechargeable batteryelectrode using the same, and a lithium rechargeable battery. The conducting material composition includes carbon nanotube; and a dispersing agent including a plurality of polyaromatic hydrocarbon oxides, in which the dispersing agent contains the polyaromatic hydrocarbon oxides having a molecular weight of 300 to 1000 in an amount of 60% by weight or more.

The present invention relates to a novel dispersing agent capable of uniformly dispersing a variety of carbon-based materials in different media including aqueous solvents and a preparation method thereof, and a carbon-based material-dispersed composition including the same. The dispersing agent is a mixture of a plurality of polyaromatic hydrocarbon oxides, and the mixture includes polyaromatic hydrocarbon oxide having a molecular weight of 300 to 1000 in an amount of 60% by weight or more.

The present invention relates to a method for preparing carbon nanotubes which are capable of more effectively preparing carbon nanotubes having a uniform and fine size, and a dispersion composition of carbon nanotubes obtained using the same. The method for preparing carbon nanotube comprises the steps of: forming a dispersion comprising carbon nanotube bundles, a dispersant and a solvent; and enabling the dispersion to consecutively pass through a high pressure homogenizer, wherein the dispersant is a mixture of plural kinds of polyaromatic hydrocarbon oxides, and the carbon nanotube bundles are pulverized or disentangled while passing through a microchannel of the high pressure homogenizer under a shear force to form carbon nanotubes.

The preparation method of graphene includes forming dispersion including a carbon-based material including unoxidized graphite, and a dispersant; and continuously passing the dispersion through a high pressure homogenizer including an inlet, an outlet, and a micro-channel for connection between the inlet and the outlet, having a diameter in a micrometer scale, wherein the carbon-based material is exfoliated, as the material is passed through the micro-channel under application of a shear force, thereby forming graphene having a thickness in nanoscale.

Provided are an anode active material including carbon-based particles, silicon nanowires grown on the carbon-based particles, and a carbon coating layer on surfaces of the carbon-based particles and the silicon nanowires, and a method of preparing the anode active material. Since the anode active material of the present invention is used in a lithium secondary battery, physical bonding force between the carbon-based particles and the silicon nanowires may not only be increased but conductivity may also be improved. Thus, lifetime characteristics of the battery may be improved.
