Provided is an end cell heater for a fuel cell capable of preventing water existing in reaction cells of a fuel cell stack from being frozen to improve initial start ability and initial driving performance of the fuel cell at the time of cold-starting the fuel cell during winter by disposing heaters on end cells disposed at both ends of the fuel cell stack and capable of securing air-tightness and pressure resistance properties of air passages and fuel passages formed in the end cell.

The present invention relates to a coolant heater comprising: a heating element for heating coolant; a first housing for accommodating the heating element; a cover plate for sealing the first housing in which the heating element is accommodated; a temperature fuse provided in an external space formed by coupling the first housing and the cover plate, and disposed to be adjacent to the cover plate; and a second housing for pressing the temperature fuse so as to pressurize the same toward the cover plate, wherein overheat sensing responsiveness of the heating element is improved such that the overheat of the heating element can be prevented, and failure factors in a part in which the temperature fuse is coupled are reduced such that a durability is improved.

An embodiment fuel cell includes a cell stack including a plurality of unit cells stacked in a first direction, a plate disposed at one of two end portions of the cell stack, the plate including a first terminal unit protruding in a second direction intersecting the first direction, a heating element including a second terminal unit engaged with the first terminal unit of the plate in the second direction, the heating element being disposed between the one of the two end portions of the cell stack and the plate, and an insulation part disposed at at least one of the first terminal unit or the second terminal unit, wherein one of the first terminal unit and the second terminal unit includes a pair of male heater terminals protruding in the second direction, and the other includes a pair of female heater terminals.

The present invention relates to a coolant heater. The purpose of the present invention, a coolant heater which effectively heats coolant of a vehicle by means of a heating unit, is to provide a coolant heater having improved sensitivity and responsiveness to over-heating and assured stability by utilizing a temperature fuse to prevent over-heating. Another purpose of the present invention is to provide a coolant heater having enhanced durability of the temperature fuse coupling part by improving the structure by which the temperature fuse is fixed.

The present invention relates to a humidifying and cooling apparatus for a fuel cell, and more particularly, to a humidifying and cooling apparatus for a fuel cell for actively and effectively performing a cooling and a humidification control of supplied air, when high-humidity air is supplied to a fuel cell stack in an air supplying apparatus for a fuel cell for supplying an appropriate humidity to the fuel cell stack.

This oil separator supplies an effective quantity of lubrication oil to the drive parts of a compressor, and protects the compressor from being unexpectedly damaged or locked. The oil separator accomplishes the recent trend of compactness of compressors, and prevents a bypass flow of the compressed refrigerant into the compressor. This oil separator collaterally reduces operational noises of the compressor. In this oil separator, an oil-separating chamber,having a generally U-shaped passage, is defined in the rear section of a compressor housing by a cover,The oil-separating chamber,has a guide wall,thus forming a desired U-shaped passage therein. Refrigerant inlet and outlet ports,are formed on the rear wall of the housing. An oil-collecting part,is formed on the bottom of the oil-separating chamber,and stores recovered oil therein. This oil-collecting part,communicates with an oil return line,through an oil return channel,of a gasket,and so the recovered oil returns to the driving part chamber,of the compressor. The above gasket,is interposed between the housing,and the cover,thus accomplishing a desired sealing effect.
