A packaging container which includes a synthetic resin container body having a flange part and the cover member heat-sealed to the flange part of the container body. The cover member includes (1) an upper member in which inner surfaces of resin films are positioned opposite to each other to form an abutted part, an unsealed part communicating with the inside of the container body is formed by heat-sealing a peripheral edge part of the abutted part excluding one side of the abutted part forming a base part, and the steam releasing seal part is formed at the abutted part and (2) a lower member which covers a lower surface of the upper member and in which a steam guide part communicating with the inside of the container body is formed at or near the base part of the abutted part.

Packaging container for cooking by electronic oven

Provided is a package for cooking in a microwave oven, in which a synthetic resin container body having a flange part is filled with contents and a lid is heat-sealed to the flange part to seal the package hermetically. Independent concave parts sandwiching a heat-sealed part are provided in a part of the flange part on the inner and outer sides of the heat-sealed part to form, on the heat-sealed part, a projection part directed to the inner direction of the container and serving as a steam releasing part by automatically opening. The package is prevented from being broken or deformed by preventing the heat-sealed part from being peeled immediately after the contents are placed in the container body. When heating cooking is performed in a microwave oven, the package improves the taste of the contents by the steaming effect. The lid is sure to automatically open by the increase of the pressure in the container.

Provided are a packaging container for a microwave oven that excels in the sealing performance between a container body and lid, and that at heating/cooking by a microwave oven, maintains the internal pressure of the container for a given period of time to thereby enhance the taste of contents through steaming effect, and that thereafter, can spontaneously open with certainty from a steam releasing seal part; and an efficient process for manufacturing the packaging container. In the packaging container for microwave oven having a lid heat-sealed to the periphery of a flange part of container body made of a synthetic resin so as to attain hermetic sealing, at least one steam releasing seal part with a weakened part is disposed inside the peripheral seal part of the flange part at a position separate from the peripheral seal part.

An end face of an intermediate layer of a multilayer structure is stably covered by surface resin layers at a time of cutting the multilayer structure. At least one branched chamber extends and diverges from a side wall of a pouch body. The branched chamber has an optional pouring spout at its distal end to permit the removal of the contents of the pouch. A readily unsealable seal member is optionally included to partition the branched chamber from the pouch body, thus providing a pouch wherein two or more different materials are mixed prior to removal from the pouch. A pouch having this structure provides excellent rupture protection of the readily unsealable seal member caused from, for example, handling, shipping, or dropping of the pouch.

A process for producing an easily openable closure including the steps of producing a closure body by subjecting a shell formed from a metal blank to panel formation, score formation for defining a portion to be opened, bead formation while the shell is intermittently moved for producing a tab, placing a bonding surface of the closure body opposite to a bonding surface of the tab, and bonding the bonding surface of the tab to the bonding surface of the closure body with an adhesive while the closure body and the tab are continuously moved.

Disclosed is an easily openable heat seal lid for sealing a vessel proper by forming a heat-sealed portion between the lid and the vessel proper, which comprises a laminate comprising at least an inner face member composed of a thermoplastic resin and a metal foil, wherein scores defining a portion to be opened are formed on the side inner than the portion to be heat-sealed so that the scores extend to the midway of the thickness direction of the metal foil, an opening tab is formed on the portion of the lid to be opened through a bonding fulcrum portion composed of a thermoplastic resin hot adhesive so that the push-tearing top end of the opening tab is located on the scores, and the peel strength between the opening tab and the lid in said bonding portion is at least 0.4 Kg/5 mm.

Easily-openable heat seal lid

Disclosed is an easily openable heat seal lid for sealing a vessel proper by forming a heat-sealed portion between the lid and the vessel proper, which comprises a laminate comprising at least an inner face member composed of a thermoplastic resin and a metal foil, wherein scores defining a portion to be opened are formed on the side inner than the portion to be heat-sealed so that the scores extend to the midway of the thickness direction of the metal foil, and said inner face member comprises at least one heat-sealable thermoplastic resin layer having an adhesion strength of at least 800 g/15 mm to the metal foil, a tear strength lower than 3.0 kg and a tensile modulus of at least 300 kg/cm.sup.2. In this heat seal lid, the resin layer can be broken sharply along the scores and opening can be accomplished very easily.

A thin sheet having a low rigidity is drawn while being depressed over the radiused corner of a die by elastic force to obtain a formed article whose sidewall part and flange part have no wrinkles. The force is applied through an elastic rubber provided around the punch and having an outside diameter larger than the inside diameter of the die cavity. The hardness of rubber is preferably approximately 70 to 85 in accordance with ASTM D 2240 Durometer A. A laminate not more than about 200 .mu.m in thickness and consisting of a thermoplastic resin film, aluminum foil and a heat-sealable resin film is drawn into a formed article or a container which is light in weight and suitable for containing foods, for instance.

A thin sheet having a low rigidity is drawn while being depressed over the radiused corner of a die by elastic force or hydrostatic force to obtain a formed article whose sidewall part and flange part have no wrinkles. The force is applied through an annular rigid body on which elastic is exerted. The hardness of the rubber is preferably approximately 70 to 85 in accordance with ASTM D 2240 Durometer A. A laminate not more than about 200 .mu.m in thickness and consisting of a thermoplastic resin film, aluminum foil and a heat-sealable resin film is drawn into a formed article or a container which is light in weight and suitable for containing foods, for instance.
