A paper folding apparatus for a binding machine, capable of discharging paper sheets by folding the paper sheets twice, includes a first knife unit and a second knife unit. The first knife unit has a first feeding path and a pair of first paper folding rollers. The second knife unit has a second feeding path and a pair of second paper folding rollers. A paper arranging guide is installed in front of the pair of first paper folding rollers, and the second knife unit includes a pinion, a rack selectively engaged with the pinion, a rack guide configured to provide a path on which the rack is moved, a resilient member resiliently supporting the rack, and a second paper folding knife configured to move back and forth between the second paper folding rollers in association with a moving direction of the rack.

Disclosed is a stapling apparatus having an improved structure capable of smoothly rotating a stapler at both lateral sides of the stapling apparatus. The stapling apparatus includes a base frame including a horizontal slot, branch slots branching from the horizontal slot, rotation restricting plates protruding from a branch portion between the branch slots and the horizontal slot, respectively, and a movement guide shaft provided in parallel to the horizontal slot, a movable frame movable to a left or a right on the base frame, and a bucket for rotating a stapler, in which a pair of first guide rollers fitted into the horizontal slot and a second guide roller protruding to an outside of the horizontal slot are fixed to a lower portion of the bucket, and one of the first guide rollers is guided to move to the branch slot from the horizontal slot.

Disclosed is a paper discharge apparatus of optimizing the moving path of a stapler provided at the rear of the paper discharge apparatus by effectively constructing the structure of the paper discharge apparatus that discharges paper onto a stacker tray. The paper discharge apparatus includes a pair of guide side plates including first rail grooves and curved cams adjacent to the first rail grooves, a pair of paper gripping units to grip the paper on the paper stacking plate in the contact with the curved cams, a first driving unit to drive the paper gripping units, an aligning stopper provided between the guide side plates to straightly move by a predetermined distance in the paper transfer direction from front end portions of the guide side plates, and a second driving unit to previously move the aligning stopper in the paper transfer direction just before the paper gripping units.

Paper discharge apparatus

Disclosed is a paper suppressing device capable of improving paper alignment while safely discharging papers onto a stacker tray. The paper suppressing device includes a clamp holder shaft, a clamp on the clamp holder shaft, a crank arm to open the clamp fixed onto the clamp holder shaft, and a driving wheel driving the crank arm. A control mass, which includes a fixing member protruding from the clamp holder shaft perpendicularly to the clamp holder shaft, a pin provided perpendicularly to an end portion of the fixing member, and a lever protruding in adjacent to the fixing member, is fixed onto the clamp holder shaft. The crank arm has one end portion with a slit groove engaged with the pin of the control mass in such a manner that the pin is movable, and an opposite end portion eccentrically coupled with a rotational shaft of the driving wheel.
