The wide viewing angle compensation polarizing plate can widen viewing angle characteristics both in the lateral and vertical directions with respect to the direction of the normal to the screen when used in liquid crystal displays.

An optical resin sheet includes a cured resin layer containing glass fiber, wherein the ratio of the elastic modulus of the glass fiber to the elastic modulus of a cured resin material, which forms the cured resin layer, is 25 or more.
