Aspects of the present disclosure implement techniques of a new 3D waveform coding scheme that leverages the spatial properties of 5G NR systems. Specifically, in 5G systems, each UE location may be characterized by three parameters: propagation delay (t), angle of elevation (&#x3b8;), and angle of azimuth (&#x3c6;). Global coding matrix may be generated by linear combination of these three attributes and a unique lattice code may be generated for each UE at different locations from the base station. Thus, considering the coding gain increases with increasing the distance between the codes, aspects of the present disclosure take advantage of geometrical properties of lattice. Particularly, within the 3D waveform coding, if lattice distance between co-beamed UEs is determined to be greater than threshold radius, a conjugate lattice code for the UEs may be applied in accordance with aspects of the present disclosure.

Inter user interference control techniques

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which a UE receives configuration information indicative of a base station virtual boundary geometry, decodes a plurality of virtual boundary marking code blocks associated with the configuration information, said decoding based on UE eigenvector information, and determines to establish communications with the base station within the base station virtual boundary geometry. A base station determines configuration information indicative of a base station virtual boundary geometry, the configuration information associated with accumulated measured and reported key performance parameters of a plurality of user equipment, transmits the configuration information to at least one UE, wherein the configuration information comprises a plurality of virtual boundary marking code blocks and attempts to establish communications with the at least one user equipment.

Virtual boundary marking techniques in beamformed wireless communications

Various embodiments include methods of offloading user equipment communication traffic between communications drones. The methods may include receiving, at a candidate communication drone, a replacement request from a requesting communication drone. Radio frequency (RF) communication parameters may be set for the candidate communication drone to take over communications of the requesting communication drone. The RF communication parameters may be determined based on the replacement request and may distinguish the candidate communication drone from the requesting communication drone and at least one neighboring communication drone. The candidate communication drone may move toward a target position adjacent a position of the requesting communication drone without radiating RF communications for taking over communications of the requesting communication drone. In addition, the candidate communication drone may radiate RF communications using the set RF communication parameters to begin taking over communication services from the requesting communication drone upon arriving at the target position.
