A rotary tool () having a plurality of switchable modes is provide with a trigger () and a switching lever () disposed around a grip () for selecting a rotational direction of a motor (). The switching lever () is operated between a forward rotation state, a reverse rotation state, and a neutral state. A switching of the modes is executed when the switching lever () is positioned in the neutral state and the trigger () is pulled.

Electric power tool and motor control method thereof

A locking mechanism of a battery pack A is provided with a hookwhich can be locked to a mounting part B of an object equipment such as an electric tool in a state slid with respect to the mounting part, and operation partsfor releasing the lock which are linked to the hook, on a case which contains a battery.
