A fluorescence reader includes a base frame having an open part formed at the front thereof so that a diagnostic cartridge is inserted therein and having an inner space therein, an optical module disposed in the inner space of the base frame, and disposed to be positioned above the diagnostic cartridge inserted through the open part to irradiate a light to the diagnostic cartridge; a driving module for moving the optical module; and a sensor module for sensing the insertion of the diagnostic cartridge and the position of the optical module. The fluorescence signal reader automatically calculates a measurement time when a user loads a solution, thus improving detection accuracy and shortening a detection time.

Provided is a system for sampling and pretreating biological fluid. It comprises: a piercing unit having at a lower portion a capillary tip which is to be inserted into skin to a predetermined depth to take biological fluid therethrough; a dropper, connected to an upper portion of the piercing unit, having an injection tube at an upper portion thereof, the injection tube communicating with the capillary tip; and a reagent container, designed to accommodate the piercing unit therein in an airtight manner so as to seal an outer circumference of the piercing unit, functioning to contain a reagent for treating the biological fluid of the capillary tip of the piercing unit. The system allows even a novice to sample and pretreat biological fluid with high accuracy without the use of expensive precision devices. The system employs fewer expendable supplies, thus providing higher convenience for the user.

Biological fluid sampling and pretreating system and a method thereof

The present disclosure provides a device for simultaneously detecting hemoglobin and glycohemoglobin in blood. The device includes a lateral flow assay strip, a laser-induced epifluorescence detection device, and an LED detection device. The present disclosure further provides a method for simultaneously quantifying hemoglobin and glycohemoglobin in blood by an immunological method using the same.
