Disclosed is an electronic device including a sensor in which a sensing area and a peripheral area adjacent to the sensing area are defined. The sensor includes a plurality of first sensing electrodes arranged in a first direction, a plurality of second sensing electrodes arranged in a second direction intersecting the first direction, a plurality of first trace lines electrically connected to the plurality of first sensing electrodes, respectively, and a plurality of second trace lines electrically connected to the plurality of second sensing electrodes, respectively. Each of the plurality of second trace lines includes a plurality of sub-lines overlapping the sensing area and the plurality of sub-lines are spaced apart from one another.

An electronic apparatus includes: a display layer configured to display images; and a sensor layer on the display layer and comprising a sensing region and a non-sensing region; wherein the sensor layer includes: first sensing electrodes extending on the sensing region in a first direction and arranged in a second direction crossing the first direction; second sensing electrodes extending on the sensing region in the second direction and arranged in the first direction; and first sensing signal lines connected to the first sensing electrodes, respectively, through a contact part overlapping the sensing region, wherein a length of each of the first sensing electrodes in the first direction is greater than a length of each of the second sensing electrodes in the second direction, and the first sensing electrodes have a same length in the sensing region.

The sensor layer includes a plurality of first electrode groups arranged in a first direction, a plurality of second electrode groups arranged in a second direction crossing the first direction, and a plurality of trace lines electrically connected to the plurality of first electrode groups and the plurality of second electrode groups and at least partially overlapping the display area. Each of the plurality of first electrode groups includes a 1-1st electrode and a 1-2nd electrode spaced apart from each other in the second direction, and each of the plurality of second electrode groups includes a 2-1st electrode and a 2-2nd electrode spaced from each other in the first direction.

An electronic device includes a first electrode, a second electrode, and a third electrode. The first electrode includes a first boundary side extending in a direction. The second electrode includes a second boundary side extending in the direction. The third electrode is disposed between and spaced apart from the first electrode and the second electrode. The first side and the second side have shapes that are asymmetric to each other with respect to a center axis extending in the direction.

Disclosed is a display device including an input sensor. The input sensor includes a first group electrode and a second group electrode that overlap a sensing region. The first group line is connected to the first group line, and overlaps the sensing region. The first group line is substantially uniformly located in a first region of the sensing region, and is located more densely in a second region of the sensing region than in the first region. A length of the first group line located in the second region is less than that of the first group line located in the first region.

The display panel includes a display area that includes a first area through which an optical signal passes and a second area by which the optical signal is blocked. The first area includes a first sub-area having a first light transmittance and a second sub-area having a second light transmittance lower than the first light transmittance. The input sensor layer includes a first sensing pattern that overlaps the second area and includes first openings, and a second sensing pattern that overlaps the first area. The second sensing pattern includes second openings that overlap the second sub-area and are larger than the first openings, and at least one third opening that overlaps the first sub-area and is larger than the second openings.
