A system for dispensing a personal care fluid, such as a hand soap or the like. The system includes a dispenser and a refill cartridge. The dispenser includes a dispenser body having a refill cavity and a dispenser lid configured to be coupled to the dispenser body. There may be a pump sub-system mounted to the dispenser lid, or alternatively the personal care fluid may be dispensed by squeezing the dispenser and refill cartridge. The refill cartridge is configured for slidable insertion into and removal from the refill cavity of the dispenser body. The personal care fluid system is designed so that a user can readily and easily change out/replace the refill cartridge for use with a common dispenser, dispenser lid, and pump sub-system.

A method of manufacturing a container (), comprising: providing a body () defining a chamber for storing a product and defining an opening through which the product is dispensable from the chamber; selecting a first structure () from a plurality of structures, each of the plurality of structures having a feature for forming part of an exterior surface of the container () when the respective structure is affixed to the body (), the feature of the first structure () differing from the feature of another structure of the plurality of structures; and affixing to the body () the first structure () with the feature of the first structure forming part of the exterior surface of the container (). Also disclosed are a container and a bundle or package of containers.

Container and manufacture of a container

Disclosed is a pump dispenser comprising: a body defining a hollow interior and an opening through which at least a portion of a refill cartridge containing a flowable substance is receivable into the hollow interior; a lid; and a pump for pumping the flowable substance from the refill cartridge when the portion of the refill cartridge is in the hollow interior and the lid closes the opening. The lid comprises a dip tube with a lumen fluidly connected to the pump, the dip tube has a tapered end located in the hollow interior when the lid closes the opening. At least one of the body and the lid has a grip on an exterior surface thereof for aiding relative movement of the body and the lid to access the hollow interior when the lid closes the opening. Also disclosed is a system comprising the pump dispenser and the refill cartridge.

A system for dispensing a fluid, such as a hand soap or the like. The system includes a dispenser and/or a refill cartridge. The dispenser includes a dispenser body having a refill cavity, a dispenser lid configured to be coupled to the dispenser body, and a pump sub-system mounted to the dispenser lid. The pump sub-system includes a first dip tube, a dispensing orifice, and a pump. The refill cartridge includes a cartridge body having a fluid cavity, a store of a fluid in the fluid cavity, and a second dip tube extending into the store of the fluid. The refill cartridge is configured for slidable insertion into and removal from the refill cavity of the dispenser body. The dispenser lid may be coupled to the dispenser body thereby mating the first and second dip tubes to enable dispensing of the fluid.

A consumer product includes a housing defining an internal volume. An engaging mechanism is coupled to or integral with the housing. A cartridge is configured to be inserted into the internal volume through a first end of the housing, and the engaging mechanism is configured to engage a second engaging mechanism on the cartridge. An elevation mechanism is positioned at least partially within the internal volume. An actuating device is coupled to the housing proximate to a second end of the housing. The elevation mechanism is configured to move in response to actuation of the actuating device.

The lid may include a top surface (), a bottom surface () that is opposite to the top surface, a plug () extending from the bottom surface for a first distance, and a brim () extending from bottom surface for a second distance that is less than or equal to the first distance. The brim includes a first curve () at least partially extending from the bottom surface away from the top surface, and a second curve () at least partially extending from the top surface, away from the bottom surface. An apparatus and method for mixing a concentrated product and a liquid. The apparatus includes a body defining an internal volume. A mixing device is positioned at least partially within the internal volume. The mixing device includes one or more vanes that separate the internal volume into a first portion and a second portion when the mixing device is in a first position. The first portion and the second portion are in fluid communication with one another when the mixing device is in a second position.
