A charging device connected to a power source for charging a plurality of electronic devices is provided. Each of the electronic devices has a predetermined charging power. The charging device comprises a power input end, a plurality of power output ends, a plurality of charging units, and a controller. The power input end is connected to the power source. The power output ends are utilized to connect the electronic devices. The charging units are electrically connected to the power output ends respectively. The controller is electrically connected to the power input end, the power output ends and the charging units for accessing an output power of the power source via the power input and each of the predetermined charging powers via the power output ends, and controlling the charging units according to the output power and the predetermined charging powers.

Charging device and charging method thereof

An electronic system includes a first device and a second device is provided. The first device includes a power connector, a first connector, a first battery, and a charging controller. The second device includes a second connector and a second battery. The power connector is configured to receive an external voltage. The first battery is electrically connected to the power connector and the first connector. The charging controller is electrically connected to the power connector and the first battery. The second connector is utilized for connecting the first connector. The second battery is electrically connected to the second connector. When the first connector is connected to the second connector, the charging controller selectively connects the first battery and the second battery in a series via the first connector and the second connector according to the level of the first battery and the second battery.

Electronic system

A power system applied to a handheld device including a battery, a first connecting port, a second connecting port, a first detector, a second detector, a power delivery controller, a control unit, and a switching element is provided. The first connecting port is electrically connected to the battery through a first charging path. The second connecting port is electrically connected to the battery through a second charging path. The first detector is electrically connected to the first connecting port to generate a first detection signal. The second detector is electrically connected to the second connecting port to generate a second detection signal. The control unit controls the switching element according to the first detection signal and the second detection signal to selectively electrically connect the power delivery controller to the first connecting port or the second connecting port and controls conduction statuses of the charging paths.

Power system

A power system including a battery, a first port, a first converter, a second port, a second converter, a switch, a power controller, and a control unit is provided. The first port is electrically connected to the battery through a first charging/discharging path. The second port is electrically connected to the battery through a second charging/discharging path and is electrically connected to the first port through a third charging/discharging path. The first converter and the second converter are disposed on the first charging/discharging path and the second charging/discharging path respectively. The switch is disposed on the third charging/discharging path. The power controller is electrically connected to the first port and the second port for forming a power transmission mode with an external device. The control unit is configured to control the first converter, the second converter, and the switch according to the power transmission mode.

Power system for handheld device

A power control circuit is disclosed. The power control circuit includes a first receiving circuit, a second receiving circuit, a first power supply circuit and a second power supply circuit. The first receiving circuit is electrically connected to a charging circuit and a first port and configured to charge a power unit according to a first port voltage. The second receiving circuit is electrically connected to the charging circuit and a second port and configured to charge the power unit according to a second port voltage. The second receiving circuit is further configured to be disabled according to the first port voltage. The first power supply circuit is configured to supply power to the first port. The second power supply circuit is configured to supply power to the second port. Thus, the power control circuit transmits power or data through different ports.

Power control circuit

A detection circuit is provided, including a connector and a processing circuit. The connector comprises a first detection terminal and a second detection terminal. The second detection terminal is electrically connected to a first reference potential. The processing circuit is electrically connected to the first detection terminal and is used for receiving a power supply signal. When the connector is connected to a connecting port, the first detection terminal is electrically connected with the second detection terminal through the connecting port to form an electrical loop, so that the processing circuit detects a detection potential on the first detection terminal, and then determines whether the connector is correctly connected to the connecting port.

Detection circuit applied to a connecting port

A charging circuit applied to a post-stage circuit includes a power converting circuit, a power storage circuit, a switching circuit and a processing circuit. The power converting circuit receives an external voltage and converts the external voltage to a charging voltage. The power storage circuit is coupled to the power converting circuit and receives the charging voltage to store the power. The switching circuit is coupled to the power converting circuit and the power storage circuit. The processing circuit is coupled to the switching circuit and controls the charging circuit operated in a first mode or a second mode. When operated in the first mode, the external voltage supplies power to the post-stage circuit. When operated in the second mode, the charging voltage supplies power to the post-stage circuit.
