Disclosed are a remote control system for a home appliance network and a method for operating the same. The system includes a wired and wireless Internet network; at least one home server for controlling and managing a home network connected to a plurality of home appliances; and a central portal server for updating an IP (Internet Protocol) address to a varied IP address to manage the home server whenever an IP address allocated to the home server for using the Internet network varies, and for exchanging data with the home server. The system and method enable the central portal server to manage a plurality of home servers and remotely control a plurality of home appliances connected to the home network by allowing the home server to transmit a key message containing a varied IP address so that an existing IP address stored in a database of the central portal server can be updated to a new IP address when a home server using a dynamic IP is connected to the central portal server.

A home appliance networking system and a method for controlling the same. The home appliance networking system comprises a plurality of passive home appliances for transmitting and receiving data to/from an internal network of a home networking system. The passive home appliances are controlled according to control commands received over the internal network. The home appliance networking system further comprises a plurality of active home appliances that transmit the control commands for the passive home appliances to the internal network, and a network manager that manages the internal network and controls data transmission and reception of the plurality of passive home appliances and the plurality of active home appliances.

Home appliance networking system and method for controlling the same

A method for transmitting and receiving messages in a home appliance networking system, wherein a first home appliance connected to a network appends a unique message identification number to a header of a message and transmits the resulting message to a second home appliance connected to the network. The home appliance networking system includes a plurality of passive home appliances controlled according to control commands sent over an internal network constructed for a home networking system, and a plurality of active home appliances for transmitting the control commands for the passive home appliances to the internal network. Then, when a predetermined time lapses, it is operated with the original stroke command value, thereby evading the instablel state. In addition, the tuning instability region is searched for depending on the discharge side pressure and the suction side pressure of the compressor or the outer air temperature while the linear compressor is being operated, in order to avoid it, thereby accomplishing the optimal operation of the linear compressor.

Apparatus for controlling linear compressor and method thereof

An automatic cooking control system for a microwave over which utilizes a microcomputer for controlling the whole operation of a microwave oven. An electric power source and magnetron are used for generating microwave energy. Fans are disposed at an air inlet and an air outlet of a heating chamber. The air temperature of inflow and outflow are detected and converted by analog/digital converters into the digital signals. The system performs an initial operation process, first stage heating process, and second stage heating process to complete a full automatic cooking process. The system performs calculations to determine the parameters to be used in second stage heating process according to a temperature variation in ambient air around a microwave oven. This change could be due to the change in season or even a change during the operation of the microwave oven. This results in optimum cooking without regard to the temperature variation in ambient air around a microwave oven.
