Disclosed is an antenna module that combines a vertical winding type antenna and a horizontal winding type antenna, thus minimizing a mounting space, manufacturing costs, and design considerations. That is, the antenna module combines the vertical winding type antenna and the horizontal winding type antenna to form an antenna for resonating in the first frequency band and the second frequency band, and an antenna for wireless power transmission, thus implementing antenna performance that is equal to or greater than that of the multi-band antenna composed of the horizontal winding type radiation pattern while minimizing a mounting space.

Antenna module

The present disclosure relates to an antenna module performing near field communication such as NFC and MST, and disclosed is a stacked antenna module that interposes an electromagnetic wave shielding sheet between a lower stacked flexible sheet and an upper stacked flexible sheet in order to implement performance that is equal to or better than that of the conventional antenna upon mounting on a portable terminal composed of a metal material cover, and implements an antenna pattern that winds an electromagnetic wave shielding sheet in the vertical direction thereof by connecting a first radiation pattern and a second radiation pattern formed on the lower stacked flexible sheet and the upper stacked flexible sheet, respectively, through a connector that penetrates the electromagnetic wave shielding sheet.

Stacked antenna module

The antenna module disclosed, as the antenna module formed with a type of a flexible printed circuit board, and mounted adjacent to an end portion of a mobile terminal, includes a lower layer sheet mounted on the mobile terminal, and having a first radiation pattern formed on the lower layer sheet; an electromagnetic wave shielding sheet with an area narrower than the lower layer sheet, and layered on an top of the lower layer sheet; an upper layer sheet layered on an top of the electromagnetic wave shielding sheet, and having a second radiation pattern formed on the upper layer sheet, a part of both ends of the upper layer sheet being attached to the lower layer sheet; and a connecting portion connecting the first radiation pattern and the second radiation pattern.

The present invention suggests an antenna module in which a radiation pattern is alternately formed on an upper surface and a lower surface of a shielding sheet to be wound on the shielding sheet in a vertical direction, and a portable device having the same. In the suggested antenna module, the radiation pattern is alternately formed on the upper surface and the lower surface of the shielding sheet in the vertical direction of the shielding sheet, and the portable device comprises the antenna module having a radiation pattern formed along a short side direction of a back cover formed of a metal material, and mounted to be biased from the center of the back cover to the short side direction.
