A camera module may include a fixed part, and a driving part moved relatively with respect to the fixed part in a direction perpendicular to an optical axis direction. The driving part and the fixed part may be disposed to be spaced apart from each other in the optical axis direction, and the driving part may be supported by a plurality of suspension wires and a plurality of ball bearings, such that occurrence of tilting of a lens may be prevented when the driving part is driven in the direction perpendicular to the optical axis direction.

A camera module may include: a frame having an opening formed therein; an auto-focusing unit mounted on the frame; and a position adjusting part formed in the auto-focusing unit. A camera module includes a lens barrel having at least one lens disposed in an optical axis direction, a housing having the lens barrel disposed therein, and a case coupled to the housing to cover the outer surfaces of the housing. The case may include at least one of a protrusion part protruding inwardly from an upper edge of the case, a coupling forming part protruding outwardly from the upper edge of the case, and a coupling part protruding from an outer surface of the case. The protrusion part, the coupling forming part or the coupling part may be formed integrally as one piece with the case.

Disclosed herein is a lens actuating module for realizing focus adjustment and optical zooming. The lens actuating module includes a rod which is disposed on one side of a lens barrel on which at least one lens is mounted, and has an axis direction corresponding to an optical axis direction of the lens barrel, a driving force transmission member which has a conjoining recess to be conjoined with an outside surface of the rod and has magnetism so as to be conjoined with the outside surface of the rod due to a magnetic force, and a piezoelectric actuator which is disposed on one side of the driving force transmission member in the optical axis direction to provide an axis direction driving force to the rod via the driving force transmission member.

Lens actuating module

A lens driving device includes a lens barrel having a lens holder and an extension part extended from the lens holder. The device also includes a piezoelectric vibrator with a piezoelectric body flexed and bent in response to power application with a friction member in contact with the extension part, thereby providing driving power for transporting the lens barrel. The device further includes a preload member having a free end in resilient contact with a rear end of the piezoelectric body to compress the piezoelectric vibrator against the extension part and a guiding part for guiding the transport of the lens barrel in the optical axis direction. This allows a simplified and miniaturized structure, a large transport range with low input power to achieve excellent resolution of positioning, minimal loss of driving power, simplified mechanism for guiding the transport of the lens, and accurate and stable transport of the lens.

Lens driving device

The invention provides a lens transfer device including at least one lens and a lens barrel. The lens barrel has a lens receiving part with the lens arranged in an inner space thereof and an extension extending radially from an outer surface of the lens receiving part. An actuator has a body and an output member at a leading end of the actuator to contact the extension, and is adapted to expand/contract and bend in response to an external supply voltage to provide a driving force necessary for transfer of the lens barrel through the output member. A pressing member has a free end contacting a rear end of the actuator to force the actuator against the extension, and a guide guides the transfer of the lens barrel along an optical axis.
