A color image forming device has an image forming cartridge including a cartridge frame that receives a plurality of image forming units. A movable fixing part supports at least one of the shafts of a plurality of photosensitive bodies disposed in the image forming units so that the shaft is rotatably fixed. The shafts of the other photosensitive bodies are movable and rotatable when the plurality of image forming units are received in the cartridge frame. A mounting frame receives the image forming cartridge, and has a shaft receiving part formed at a position corresponding to the ends of the shafts of the photosensitive bodies. The color image forming device accurately fixes the position of the shafts of the photosensitive bodies when the image forming cartridge is assembled in the mounting frame, thereby producing a high quality image reliably.

Tandem color image forming device

An apparatus to collect a used toner on a photoconductive drum in a laser printer, includes: a used toner collecting bucket having a used toner entry port into which the used toner on the photoconductive drum flows; a cleaning blade installed at the used toner entry port to guide the used toner to the used toner entry port by scraping off the used toner from the photoconductive drum; and a used toner transferring unit to transfer the used toner so that the used toner accumulated at the used toner entry port is evenly distributed within the used toner collecting bucket.

Apparatus to collect used toner in a laser printer

A laser printer including a printer main body having a mounting portion exposed by opening a front door which is mounted on a front side of the printer main body; a side door unit mounted on a side of the printer main body to be opened and closed and rotatably supporting a transfer roller; a developing unit removably mounted in the mounting portion and having a photosensitive drum in contact with the transfer roller when mounted in the mounting portion and an opening for exposing the photosensitive drum to the external environment; an interlock device for preventing the mounted developing unit from being; removed from the mounting portion when the side door unit is closed; and a shutter device associated in operation with the interlock device to close the opening when the side door unit is opened, and expose the opening when the side door unit is closed.
