Provided is a method of continuous preparation of a biodegradable aliphatic/aromatic polyester copolymer, the method including: performing a first esterification reaction of an aliphatic dihydroxy compound and an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid at a temperature of 185&#xb0; C. or less; continuously performing a second esterification reaction of a reaction product obtained by the first esterification reaction; obtaining a pre-polymer by continuously performing a first polycondensation reaction of a reaction product obtained by the second esterification reaction; and continuously performing polycondensation reaction of the pre-polymer, wherein an aromatic carboxylic acid is added to a reactor in which the first esterification reaction or the second esterification reaction is performed, to prepare the biodegradable aliphatic/aromatic polyester copolymer. According to the method of continuous preparation of the biodegradable aliphatic/aromatic polyester copolymer as described above, the amount of the aliphatic dihydroxy compound used, which is a starting material, is reduced and accordingly, manufacturing costs are reduced.

Method for continuously preparing biodegradable aliphatic/aromatic polyester copolymer

The present invention provides a method of preparing a polyester-based polymer and a polyester-based polymer prepared by the method. The method of preparing the polyester-based polymer includes a prepolymerization step of polymerizing a dicarboxylic acid compound (A), a diol compound (B), and an aromatic branching agent (C) at 160-220&#xb0; C. to produce a prepolymer; and a condensation polymerization step of performing a condensation polymerization of the prepolymer at 200-250&#xb0; C., under a vacuum pressure of 0.1 to 2 Torr.

A continuous preparation method of a biodegradable aliphatic/aromatic polyester copolymer includes: performing a first esterification reaction of an aliphatic dihydroxy compound with an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid at a temperature of 185&#xb0; C. or less; continuously performing a second esterification reaction of a reaction product from the first esterification reaction; continuously performing a first polycondensation reaction of a reaction product from the second esterification reaction to obtain a prepolymer having a weight average molecular weight of about 6,900 to about 14,000; continuously performing a second polycondensation reaction of the prepolymer to obtain a second polycondensation reaction product; and continuously performing a third polycondensation reaction of the second polycondensation reaction product to prepare the biodegradable aliphatic/aromatic polyester copolymer, wherein the performing of the first esterification reaction or the continuously performing of the second esterification reaction includes adding an aromatic carboxylic acid. The biodegradable aliphatic/aromatic polyester copolymer prepared by the continuous method may be improved in processibility, film formability, tensile/tearing strength, and blending ability with another polymer resin. Use of a less amount of the aliphatic dihydroxy compound as a starting material may reduce manufacturing costs.

Method for continuous production of biodegradable aliphatic/aromatic polyester copolymer

A continuous preparation method of a biodegradable aliphatic/aromatic polyester copolymer includes: performing a first esterification reaction of an aliphatic dihydroxy compound with an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid at a temperature of 185&#xb0; C. or less; continuously performing a second esterification reaction of a reaction product from the first esterification reaction; continuously performing a first polycondensation reaction of a reaction product from the second esterification reaction to obtain a prepolymer; continuously performing a second polycondensation reaction of the prepolymer to obtain a second polycondensation reaction product having an intrinsic viscosity from about 0.9 dl/g to about 1.0 dl/g; and continuously performing a third polycondensation reaction of the second polycondensation reaction product to prepare the biodegradable aliphatic/aromatic polyester copolymer, wherein the performing of the first esterification reaction or the continuously performing of the second esterification reaction includes adding an aromatic carboxylic acid. The biodegradable aliphatic/aromatic polyester copolymer prepared by control of the intrinsic viscosity of the second polycondensation reaction product may be improved in processibility, film formability, tensile/tearing strength, and blending ability with another polymer resin. Use of a less amount of the aliphatic dihydroxy compound as a starting material may reduce manufacturing costs.

Provided is a method of continuous production of a biodegradable aliphatic polyester including continuously performing an esterification reaction of a mixture including an aliphatic dihydroxy compound and aliphatic dicarboxylic acid at a temperature of 185&#xb0; C. or less to obtain an ester; continuously performing a first polycondensation reaction of the ester to obtain a preliminary polymer; and continuously performing a polycondensation reaction of the preliminary polymer. There are provided a resin composition for foaming including a biodegradable resin and a foamed article made thereof. The resin composition for foaming according to the present invention includes an ethylene-vinyl acetate resin, a biodegradable polyester resin containing a monomer of a double bond compound, a cross-linking agent, a co-crosslinking agent, a filler, and a foaming agent. In the resin composition, the double bond in the biodegradable polyester resin can be chemically cross-linked to the ethylene-vinyl acetate resin by a cross-linking agent, so that a compatibility with the ethylene-vinyl acetate resin can be improved, processability (mold releasability) during a mixing and melting process can be improved, and a foaming property and a mechanical property of a foamed article can be remarkably improved.

Resin composition for foaming containing biodegradable resin, and foam manufactured therefrom

There is provided a method of preparation for a biodegradable co-polyester, the method including: forming an oligomer through a primary esterification reaction between a hydroxy group of an aliphatic dihydroxy compound and a carboxylic group of an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid compound; performing a secondary esterification reaction between the formed oligomer and an aromatic dicarboxylic acid compound; and performing a polycondensation reaction in a vacuum, in which sequentially divided addition of the aromatic dicarboxylic acid compound is performed and the weight ratio of the aromatic dicarboxylic acid compound with respect to the oligomer for each time of the sequentially divided addition is from 2:8 to 5:5. The method efficiently increases a solubility of aromatic dicarboxylic acid, thereby increasing a reaction rate and reducing a side reaction.
