Embodiments of the present disclosure provide terminal connection control method and apparatus in a base station of a mobile communication system which supports a Carrier Aggregation (CA) function. According an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method for control a connection of a terminal in a base station of a mobile communication system includes determining whether there is a Primary Cell (PCell) connection request from a terminal with respect to an i-th cell (herein, i is a positive integer greater than 0 and equal to or smaller than k) corresponding to one of k cells (herein, k is a positive integer greater than 0) in the base station; if there is the PCell connection request from the terminal, determining whether to allow the PCell connection for the i-th cell of the terminal based on a threshold load corresponding to a maximum limit of a resource allocated to each cell; and if the PCell connection for the i-th cell of the terminal is allowed, determining whether to release a Secondary Cell (SCell) connection for at least one or more terminals which maintain the SCell connection for the i-th cell by comparing an i-th resource load allocated to the i-th cell with the threshold load.

Method and device for controlling access of terminal for efficient use of resources in mobile communication system

A network includes a Mobile Station (MS) for sending a Service Flow (SF) modification request message to a Base Station (BS) to modify an SF. The BS sends a path modification request message to a serving SF Authorization (SFA) when there is the information on the SF. The BS also sends an SF modification response message comprising a Confirmation Code 'Reject SF not found' to the MS when there is no information on the SF. The serving SFA sends a resource reservation request message to an anchor SFA when there is the information on the SF, and sends a path modification response message comprising a Failure Indication (FI) 'Requested Context Unavailable' to the BS when there is no information on the SF. The base station transmits a path registration response message to the ASN_GW in response to the path registration request message, after establishment of the multicast connection between the ASN_GW and the base station.

Disclosed is an apparatus and method for an MBS service in a BWA system. An apparatus of a base station includes a time controller, a CAC processor, and a buffer controller. The time controller manages a broadcast start time and a broadcast end time and generates a broadcast start message at a predetermined time before the actual broadcast start time. Upon receipt of the generated broadcast start message from the time controller, the CAC processor calculates a capacity decrease due to broadcast service and subtracts the capacity decrease from the current available capacity to update the available capacity.
