A dispensing assembly includes a dispenser having a front panel, a rear panel, a top panel, a bottom panel, a first side panel, and a second side panel that define an internal chamber configured to receive a plurality of articles. The dispenser includes a dispensing opening. At least a portion of the dispensing opening is formed in the front panel, and may extend a width of the panel, e.g., from the first side panel to the second side panel. The dispensing assembly further includes a shelf contained within the internal chamber and configured to facilitate the removal of an individual article from within the internal chamber in an efficient manner. The dispensing assembly further includes an insert configured to maintain the stack of articles in a predetermined arrangement within the internal chamber. The insert comprises at least one retaining flap configured to be coupled with the top panel of the dispenser.

A system for packaging a kit for a radiofrequency ablation procedure protects a radiofrequency ablation kit without compromising its sterile barrier system through the hazards of handling, distribution, and storage. The system includes: an introducer tray configured to hold at least one introducer; a probe tray configured to hold at least one radiofrequency ablation probe; an outer carrier tray, a pouch configured to hold a tubing kit; and a dispenser carton. The introducer tray and the probe tray are held within the outer carrier tray, and the outer carrier tray and the pouch are configured to be held within the dispenser carton. System and method for packaging and preparing a radiofrequency ablation kit

A protective cover or sleeve for a medical spike product is provided. The protective cover includes a first panel having a lower edge, and a second panel having a lower edge, wherein the first panel and the second panel are connected at their lower edges, respectively. The first panel and the second panel are configured to be spaced apart to form a protective sleeve. The protective sleeve is configured to receive the medical spike product such that the first panel and the second panel protectively cover and enable aseptic handling of a spike end of the medical spike product and prevent the spike end from breaching a sterile barrier. The protective sleeve may be made from a paper-based material. A medical spike product assembly including the protective cover and a medical spike product inserted therein is also provided.

The present disclosure is directed to a dispensing assembly. The dispensing assembly includes a container having a plurality of exterior panels that define an internal chamber. The exterior panels include at least opposing side panels and a top panel having an opening configured to dispense a plurality of articles therethrough. The dispensing assembly also includes an article dispensing component housed within the internal chamber that includes a base panel arranged with the top panel of the container so as to form an article storage area. The article storage area is configured to receive the plurality of articles. The base panel is biased towards the top panel via at least one flexible member that is secured to at least one of the opposing side panels of the container. Thus, the flexible member is configured to allow movement of the base panel towards to the top panel as each article is dispensed from the opening.

An insert for managing tie strings of a plurality of face masks within a dispenser package is provided. The insert is intended for use with face masks that include a face mask body and at least left and right tie strings. The insert includes a body having a lower portion, an upper portion, a neck connecting the lower portion and the upper portion, and a cut-out portion for the tie strings formed between the lower portion, the neck, and the upper portion. A method of managing the tie strings of a plurality of face masks using the insert is also disclosed.

A sterilization wrap system with features for protecting a sterilization wrap and/or a sterilization tray of the sterilization wrap system is provided. Such features include strap or belt protectors, edge protectors, corner protectors, and/or expandable protectors, which each may provide protection of one or more areas of the sterilization wrap and/or tray when positioned against an outer surface of the wrap and/or between an inner surface of the wrap and a container for holding implements to be sterilized. A size-selectable protection system also is provided. The size-selectable protection system provides a material having a plurality of perforations such that a length of the material may be selected and detached from the rest of the material. The selected length of material may be used with a sterilization wrap system to protect a sterilization wrap and/or sterilization tray from cuts, tears, or the like.

The present disclosure is directed to a dispensing assembly and method for manufacturing same. The dispensing assembly includes a container having a plurality of exterior panels that define an internal chamber. The present disclosure describes a procedure for wrapping an item to be sterilized with two fabric sheets in such a way as to allow a rapid unwrapping of the item for use. This procedure saves time in unwrapping and reduces the risk of loss of sterility of the item and stress on medical personnel.
