According to aspects of the present disclosure, a system, method, and storage medium comprising a plurality of sensors communicatively coupled to a microcontrol unit (MCU) wherein the MCU controls the transition between operational states. The MCU receives a system-related datum from one of the plurality of sensors. The MCU determines a control action based on the system-related datum. The MCU executes the control action on the system. The MCU sends a state change datum to a firmware wherein the state change datum indicates an operational change of the system based on the control action.

In one example in accordance with the present disclosure, an electronic device is described. The example electronic device includes a NAND flash device to store a static data component of a variable. The example electronic device also includes a NOR flash device to store a dynamic data component of the variable. The electronic device further includes a controller to write the static data component of the variable to the NAND flash device. This controller is also to write the dynamic data component of the variable to the NOR flash device.

Bios variables storage

Examples of electronic devices are described herein. In some examples, an electronic device includes a flash memory. In some examples, the electronic device includes a host memory to store an access control structure to access the flash memory. In some examples, the electronic device includes a first circuitry coupled to the host memory and the flash memory. In some examples, the first circuitry is to read the access control structure in the host memory to determine when to access the flash memory.
