An apparatus for attaching a tag to an object. The apparatus may include a body. The apparatus may also include an attachment arm, the attachment arm having a locked position and an unlocked position, and the attachment arm lockably closing to form a first closed loop with the body when the attachment arm is in the locked position. The apparatus may also include a tag loop mechanically coupled to the body. The apparatus may also include a detent arm mechanically engaged with the attachment arm in the locked position of the attachment arm, the detent arm configured so that an application of a force to the detent arm simultaneously unlocks the attachment arm and opens the tag loop.

A seat for an infant includes a base frame portion which includes a pair of upwardly and rearwardly extending inclined members, a pair of connecting assemblies, a collapsible back frame portion, a leg frame portion, and a cover on the back and leg frame portions. The connecting assemblies are operative for connecting the back and leg frame portions to the inclined members so that the back frame portion normally extends upwardly and rearwardly therefrom, and so that the leg frame portion normally extends forwardly therefrom, but so that the leg and back frame portions are optionally pivotable rearwardly and downwardly to a collapsed position of the seat without requiring disassembly thereof.

A tray assembly for a seat for a young child includes a tray portion, a pair of side arm portions which are adjustably positionable in a plurality of different outwardly extended positions and a pair of strap assemblies on the front portion of the tray portion. The tray assembly is adapted to be removably received on a seat, such as a stroller, so that it is supported on a retaining bar portion of the seat and so that the strap assemblies encircle the retaining bar in a manner which permits the tray assembly to be pivoted forwardly to an out-of-the-way position on the seat.

An infant support includes a generally wedge-shaped body portion which is adapted to alternatively support an infant in an upwardly-facing reclined position or a downwardly-facing inclined position. The body portion includes opposite first and second supporting surfaces wherein the first supporting surface is contoured to receive the infant in an upwardly-facing, reclined position when the device is supported on the second supporting surface thereof, and the second supporting surface is contoured to receive the infant in a downwardly-facing, inclined position when the device is supported on the first supporting surface thereof.

A container assembly for foods includes a container portion, a cover portion hingeably attached to the container portion along a hinge axis, a handle portion on the container portion, and a pivot tab on the cover portion. The handle portion extends outwardly from the container portion adjacent the hinge axis and it includes an outwardly extending first portion having an opening therein and a second portion which extends downwardly from the first portion. The pivot tab is attached to the cover portion so that it is operable by a user for pivoting the cover portion to an open position, and so that the pivot tab passes downwardly through the opening in the first portion of the handle portion as the cover portion is pivoted to an open position.

An infant carrier includes a collapsible shell assembly including a seat and a backrest which are pivotally connected for movement between open and closed positions. The carrier further includes a latching assembly for locking the seat and the backrest in the open position, and a pivotable handle assembly which is coaxially oriented about the pivot axis of the seat and the backrest. The handle assembly includes a carrying handle and a pivot and locking mechanism for both locking the seat and the backrest in the closed position, and for locking the handle in a plurality of pivoted positions relative to the shell assembly.

A combination step-stool-seat includes first and second members which are pivotally connected for movement between a first position wherein the first and second members are operative as the bottom and seat back portions, respectively, of a child's booster seat, and a second position wherein the first and second members are operative as first and second steps, respectively, of a stepstool. The first and second members are preferably individually molded from a plastic material and when they are in the second positions thereof the step-stool-seat is relatively compact and portable.

A device for child proofing a cassette player includes a front plate portion of elongated rectangular configuration and a pair of clip members which are integrally attached to opposite ends of the plate portion. The clip members are of generally U-shaped configuration and they are receivable in resiliently biased engagement with opposite extremities of a cassette port in a cassette player for releasably securing the front plate portion in obstructing relation with respect to the cassette port.
