A user equipment for wireless communications is provided. The user equipment includes a transmitter and a receiver. A first resource pool includes a first plurality of resources for transmission. A second resource pool includes a second plurality of resources for transmission. The second resource pool configuration is different from the first resource pool configuration or is equal to the first resource pool configuration. The transmitter is configured to transmit a first critical communication notification being a first message in the first resource pool, wherein the first critical communication notification indicates that a second message is to be transmitted in the second resource pool. Moreover, the transmitter is configured to transmit the second message in the second resource pool after transmitting the first critical communication notification or at a same time when transmitting the first critical communication notification. Moreover, a third resource pool and a fourth resource pool is provided.

User equipment and method with improved critical communication notification in wireless communications

The embodiments herein relate to a method performed by a UE () capable for sidelink communications, for congestion control in a wireless telecommunications network, wherein the UE is allocated one or more resource pools, the method comprising: performing () CBR/CR measurements on said at least one resource pool to generate CBR/CR value(s); wherein the measurements are performed over a sensing window which is either pre-configured or adapted based on the QoS of at least one data packet or at least one service, and selecting () a resource pool or at least one resource within the resource pool based on a CBR/value and QoS requirements of the data packet or the service for transmission.

Method and apparatus for congestion control in a telecommunications network

The embodiments herein relate to a method performed by UE, a UE, a network node or gNB and a method performed by the gNB for handling retransmissions in a wireless telecommunications system and resolving misalignment between the UE and the gNB. According to exemplary embodiments, there is provided a retransmission counter placed or implemented at the UE and/or the gNB which is configured to count every failing data packet (i.e., the receiver(s)/transmitters is/are informed via the NACK messages or the NACK timers). There is also provided a retransmission assignment indicator message configured to include, fully or partially: the content of said counter and the content or the structure of the CGB (Code Block Group), e.g., either all CBGs are retransmission versions or part of the CGBs are retransmission versions.
