Methods and structures are provided for implementing selective airflow modification. An airflow control member holder receives and retains an airflow control member having compliance characteristics allowing easy removal and changing of the airflow control member. The airflow control member holder includes retention features to facilitate mounting and removal from the system, such as mounting and removal from a printed circuit board (PCB). The airflow control member holder provides a protective function for a component, such as a depopulated component, a central processing unit (CPU) or other device.

Implementing modular baffling mechanism for selectively redirecting and impeding airflow

A coupling that includes a female coupling member having at least one electrically conductive ring on an inner mating surface; a male coupling member having at least one electrically conductive ring on an outer mating surface, the outer mating surface sized to fit within the inner mating surface of the female coupling member; and wherein when the male coupling member is inserted into the female coupling member, alignment of the at least one electrically conductive ring of the female coupling member with the at least one electrically conductive ring of the male coupling member indicates whether the female coupling member and the male coupling member are fully engaged.

An embodiment of a method of selecting a radio broadcast includes detecting a radio broadcast and retrieving user preference data, the user preference data specifying one or more preferred radio stations and/or one or more preferred categories of radio broadcast. The method also includes communicating via a local communication device with at least one additional processing device, wherein communicating includes retrieving radio station category information specifying at least one radio station and a category of the at least one radio station. The method further includes correlating the radio station category information with the detected radio broadcast to identify a radio station that originated the radio broadcast and one or more categories associated with the radio station and/or the radio broadcast, and based on determining that the detected radio broadcast corresponds to the user preference data, displaying information describing the detected radio broadcast and/or controlling the radio receiver.
