A bound component has a front cover attached to a spine attached to a rear cover, a binding mechanism, and a binder extension attached to either cover. The binder extension folds inwardly in its closed position and has pockets. Also disclosed is a bound component having a front cover attached to a spine attached to a rear cover, a binding mechanism and one or more pockets attached to either cover. The pocket may have one or more closure flaps and may be expandable. Also disclosed is a folder having one or more bound edges and one or more free edges, one or more folder tabs extending from one or more free edges, and a plurality of pages bound to the folder. The pages may be bound to the folder using adhesive, string, staples or other attachment mechanisms. The folder may fit within a traditional file drawer.

A protective enclosure for an electronic device includes a structural member and a cushioning member permanently attached to the structural member. The structural member has a back portion with an inner surface and an outer surface. The structural member includes a cavity configured to extend between the inner surface of the back portion and the installed electronic device. The cushioning member has a top section configured to be in direct contact with and cover at least a portion of a front surface of the installed electronic device, a bottom section configured to be in direct contact with and cover at least a portion of the back surface of the installed electronic device, and one or more side sections each configured to cover a respective side of the plurality of side surfaces of the installed electronic device. The bottom section of the cushioning member at least partially bounds the first cavity of the structural member.

Protective enclosure for an electronic device

A protective enclosure for use with an electronic device includes a cushion layer configured to cover at least a portion of the side surfaces of the electronic device when the electronic device is installed in the protective enclosure; and a structural layer affixed to the cushioning layer, the structural layer having a back portion, a top portion, a right wall portion, and a left wall portion, the back portion having a first portion having a thickness that is less than a thickness of a second portion of the back portion, the first portion configured to allow a section of the protective enclosure to flex relative to the back surface of the electronic device during installation and removal of the electronic device from the protective enclosure.

A protective enclosure for an electronic device is provided. The protective enclosure includes a structural member, a cushioning member permanently affixed to the structural member, and a cavity. The structural member has a back portion and a plurality of side portions. The cushioning member extends from an upper edge configured to extend beyond the front surface of the electronic device when the electronic device is installed in the protective enclosure to a lower edge configured to extend beyond the back surface of the electronic device and be in direct contact with a portion of the back surface of the electronic device when the electronic device is installed in the protective enclosure. The cavity is configured to extend between the inner surface of the structural member to the back surface of the installed electronic device and is at least partially bounded by the lower edge of the cushioning member.

A protective enclosure for an electronic device is provided. The protective enclosure includes a structural member, a cushioning member permanently affixed to the structural member, and a cavity. The structural member has a back portion and a plurality of side portions. The cushioning member has a top section, a bottom section, and one or more side sections. The cushioning member includes an upper edge configured to extend beyond the front surface of the installed electronic device. The cushioning member further includes a protective rim extending beyond the back surface of the electronic device and be in direct contact with the a portion of the back surface of the installed electronic device. The cavity is at least partially bounded by the protective rim of the cushioning member and extends between the inner surface of the structural member to the back surface of the installed electronic device.
