Compositions and methods for use in surface decontamination

Devices are provided for applying an indicator composition and, optionally, a disinfectant composition to an article being dispensed through the device. The device includes a housing at least partially surrounding an interior volume and having a wall defining a dispensing aperture extending through the wall, a reservoir having at least one chamber sized to contain an indicator composition, and an application mechanism positioned within the housing relative to the dispensing aperture. The reservoir optionally has a second chamber sized to contain a disinfectant composition.
