Apparatus and method of powering an outlet in a bed of an all-terrain vehicle. The all-terrain vehicle can include an engine coupled to an electric generator. The method can include activating a generator mode of the engine, generating power by utilizing the electric generator of the all-terrain vehicle coupled to the engine, supplying the power to an inverter, that can convert the power to AC power, and supplying the AC power to the outlet in the bed of the all-terrain vehicle. A controller can discontinue power to at least one accessory when power is supplied to the outlet. The electric generator can be mounted to an air conditioning compressor mount structure of the vehicle.

All-terrain vehicle assembly with bed outlet and method for powering the same

A system and method for limiting a speed of a vehicle is disclosed. The vehicle includes an ECU in communication with and configured to control the engine. The ECU has a plurality of pins, a jumper plug connected to the plurality of pins, and a cap selected from a group of caps, each of which is configured to create a different limit circuit when installed on the jumper plug. The ECU is configured to limit the speed of the vehicle to a predetermined speed when the limit circuit is detected by the ECU based on the detected cap. The ECU, jumper plug, and cap are covered by a cover secured to the frame of the vehicle by fasteners that require a tool to remove.

Speed limiting system and method

A vehicle includes a vehicle frame, a body on the vehicle frame, the vehicle frame and the body defining a wheel well, a wheel disposed in the wheel well, an engine for propelling the vehicle, and an electrical system for providing electrical power to the engine. The electrical system includes a regulator for maintaining a constant voltage across the electrical system located in the wheel well. A cover is located in the wheel well between the regulator and the wheel. An air intake is located in the body for directing airflow into a portion of the wheel well defined by the cover and housing the regulator to cool the regulator.

A vehicular seat belt assembly includes a pair of lateral webbing strips that extend laterally across the passenger's lap, proximal ends being manually connectable and dis-connectable from each other. A vertically extending webbing strip includes a pair of upper body strips that are configured to contact opposite sides of a front of the passenger's upper body. A sensor is configured to provide data indicative of whether the proximal ends of the pair of lateral webbing strips are connected together. A harness assembly includes a harness webbing that is attached to one of the pair of lateral webbing strips, and a wire harness that is connectable to the sensor, the wire harness extending along the harness webbing.
