A system includes a first body of a fluid-handling component and a second body of a fluid-handling component. The system also includes a fastener configured to couple the first body to the second body, and an annular sleeve configured to surround a portion of the fastener that is positioned at an interface between the first body and the second body when the first body and the second body are coupled to one another.

A wellhead system includes a tubing or casing hanger to be installed in a wellhead, the tubing or casing hanger including an outer surface including a landing profile configured to engage a mating landing profile of the wellhead, a landing sensor configured to transmit a signal indicating contact between the landing profile of the tubing or casing hanger and the landing profile of the wellhead, and a processor configured to receive the signal transmitted by the landing sensor.

Systems and methods for assembling a wellhead

An embodiment of a tubing or casing hanger seal assembly includes a first carrier ring, a first energizing ring coupled to the first carrier ring and configured to set a first seal of the seal assembly in response to the application of a first load to the seal assembly, and a first lock ring configured to secure the first seal to the tubing or casing hanger in response to the application of the first load to the seal assembly, wherein the first carrier ring and the first lock ring include corresponding angled engagement profiles for providing a radial force against the first lock ring relative a central axis of the seal assembly in response to the application of the first load to the seal assembly.

Wellhead assembly and method

A fluid injection system includes a choke valve having at least one inlet. The system also includes a water injection line extending between a water supply and the choke valve, and the water injection line is configured to flow water from the water supply into a first inlet of the at least one inlet of the choke valve. The system also includes a polymer injection line extending from a polymer supply toward the choke valve, and the polymer injection line is configured to flow a polymer in a substantially non-inverted state from the polymer supply toward the choke valve. The choke valve is configured to receive the water and the polymer and to facilitate inversion of the polymer as the water and the polymer flow through the choke valve.

System and method for fluid injection

A system includes a hanger having a tapered radially-outer surface and a hanger sealing assembly configured to move between an unsealed position and a sealed position in which the hanger sealing assembly seals an annular space between the hanger and a housing of a wellhead. The hanger sealing assembly includes an annular sleeve, a first and second annular seal each comprising a respective tapered radially-inner surface configured to contact the tapered radially-outer surface of the hanger, and an annular seal-engaging sleeve. The annular seal-engaging sleeve is coupled to the first and second annular seals, and movement of the annular sleeve along an axial axis is configured to exert an axial force on the first annular seal, thereby causing the first and second annular seals to move axially and radially outward along the tapered radially-outer surface of the hanger to seal the annular space.

Hanger sealing system

An underwater assembly includes a flow control device and an actuator coupled to the flow control device, where the actuator is configured to actuate the flow control device. The underwater assembly further includes an insulated housing surrounding the flow control device and the actuator, where the insulated housing is configured to retain heat. The underwater assembly also includes a thermal control system comprising a heat exchanger configured to control a temperature of the actuator.

System for controlling temperature of subsea equipment

An ultrasonic transducer apparatus is provided. In one embodiment, the apparatus includes an outer housing, an inner housing disposed within the outer housing, and an ultrasonic transducer disposed within the inner housing. The outer housing has an aperture that enables pressurized fluid to enter the outer housing while allowing the outer housing to acoustically isolate the inner housing and the ultrasonic transducer from an additional component when the outer housing is connected to the additional component. A system includes a subsea chemical injection system configured to inject a chemical into a well, wherein the choke trim comprises a first cylinder comprising a first plurality of spiral flow paths, a second cylinder comprising a second plurality of spiral flow paths, wherein the first cylinder is disposed within the second cylinder, and an outer portion comprising a plurality of axial passages, wherein the second cylinder is disposed within the outer portion.

A fluid injection system includes a water injection assembly having a choke valve configured to receive water from a water injection line and to provide the water to a main bore of a well head. The system also includes a polymer injection assembly having a dedicated polymer connection configured to receive a polymer from a polymer injection line and to direct the polymer toward the main bore of the well head to facilitate mixing of the water and the polymer within the main bore.
