The present invention relates to a tree watering apparatus that can be used to irrigate the base of a tree and to protect the roots thereof. The present invention comprises a semi-circular ring having a bottom half that serves as a root barrier and a top half that serves as a barrier to retain water around a tree while the water percolates to the root system of the tree. A distribution tubing is attached to a water supply and directs water around a tree which is then retained on the ground around the tree by the top half of the present invention while it percolates into the ground. Water that percolates into the ground is then directed to the root system of the tree by the bottom half of the present invention that is buried.

Tree watering apparatus

Methods and apparatus are provided for feeding a pet in a manner that engages the pet and provides stimulation and exercise. Exemplary apparatus for dispensing animal food include a food hopper for containing animal food operatively connected to a food handler that launches a portion or ration of the animal food away from the unit in response to detecting a triggering action of the animal.

A paging and mobile communications system and method is disclosed whereby entertainment, news, and other timely information may be delivered to a service recipient through a pager while the service recipient is waiting for service. The eatable is any ingested material taken by mammals, such as foodstuffs, non-calorie food components or medicines including bitter chocolate or a drug such as ibuprofen.

Producing tastands including food and beverage additives

A shell for the bed of a pickup truck is provided. The shell is comprised of a base member mounted to the truck bed and a top member hinged to and fitted over the base member. The top member is hinged in such a manner that it may be swung open to allow access to the interior of the bed from the side as well as the rear of the truck. The hinge means have a quick release feature so that the top member may be removed for greater hauling capacity. A fabric covering may be substituted for the top member as an alternative cover.
