An adjustable shaft and hosel assembly allows for dependent and independent adjustment of a golf club's face angle, loft angle, and lie angle. The adjustable shaft and hosel assembly comprises a shaft sleeve, a hosel portion, a tubular adjustment piece having non-parallel upper and lower surfaces, and a retention feature that provides an engagement between the tubular adjustment piece and the shaft sleeve to prevent the tubular adjustment piece from becoming detached from the shaft sleeve.

A putter head having variable face thickness or multiple materials and adjustable weighting features is disclosed herein. The variable face thickness may comprise a plurality of geometric shapes on the striking face surface with spacing between them that decreases in a top to bottom direction, or the face may include a plurality of angled carbon rods. The putter also includes an adjustable weight cartridge that can pivot in a toe-heel direction.

Putters with variable face thickness and adjustability features

A putter-type golf club head with a sound chamber is disclosed herein. The club head comprises a body and a two-piece face insert disposed over the sound chamber. The sound chamber comprises a central sound sub-chamber and an outer sound sub-chamber, while the face insert comprises a first, metallic piece that includes a central recess, which is filled with a second, polymeric piece. The metallic piece is welded to the body, and the polymeric piece is adhered to the metallic piece. The body also includes at least one through-bore extending from the sound chamber through a back wall of the body. The body, the sound chamber, the face insert, and the through-bore amplify the sound generated by the putter-type golf club head striking a golf ball.

A golf club head comprising a hinged face component is disclosed herein. The face component is preferably a partial face cup with striking face, a flange, and a grooved hinge region between the striking face and the flange, which allows the striking face to flex and improves the sound of the striking face when it makes contact with a golf ball. The face component can be L-shaped, r-shaped, or cup shaped, and the groove preferably extends along the entire horizontal length of at least one hinge. In other embodiments, the groove may extend along a horizontal midline of the rear surface of the face cup striking face.

A putter-type golf club head with a sound chamber is disclosed herein. The club head comprises a body and a face insert over the sound chamber. The sound chamber comprises a central sound sub-chamber and an outer sound sub-chamber. The body, the sound chamber and the face insert amplify the sound generated by the putter-type golf club head striking a golf ball.

A putter-type golf club head with a dampening screw is disclosed herein. The club head comprises a body and a face insert engaged by the dampening screw. The dampening screw is threadingly positioned within an aperture of an aft wall, and has a tip section and a threaded section. The sound of the putter striking a golf ball is dampened when the top section of the dampening screw engages the interior surface of the face insert.
