The polymerization of cycloalkenamer is stopped by adding an alkyl vinyl derivative. Subsequently compound A is added, wherein compound A has at least one of the features i) or ii): i) at least one functional group or ii) at least one saturated or unsaturated aliphatic or aromatic heterocyclic ring having 3 to 14 ring atoms, wherein the ring atoms contain at least one carbon atom and at least one atom selected from oxygen, nitrogen and sulfur. A membrane filtration is subsequently carried out. This type of production produces polyalkenamers which are temperature-stable at 180&#xb0; C.

Method for producing temperature-stable polyalkenylenes

A method is useful for the continuous production of ketones from a compound with at least one epoxide group in at least one fixed bed reactor. A catalyst composition is used with at least one noble metal and at least one metal oxide. To reduce the proportions of high-boilers which form in the reaction, an inert gas is introduced so that a carbon monoxide partial pressure of 50 mbar or less is set in the reactor.

Method for the continuous production of ketones from epoxides in a fixed bed

A homogeneous catalyst system is removed from a reaction mixture of two liquid phases by separating the two liquid phases with a membrane having at least one separation-active layer in such a way that the homogeneous catalyst system is at least partially concentrated in a membrane retentate; wherein the reaction mixture contains at least one partially epoxidized cyclic unsaturated compound having twelve carbon atoms; and wherein the membrane separation-active layer contains crosslinked a silicone acrylate and/or polydimethylsiloxane and/or polyimide.

Membrane-supported catalyst removal in the epoxidation of cyclic unsaturated C12 compounds, for example cyclododecene (CDEN)

A catalyst composition is useful for producing a ketone from a compound containing at least one epoxide group, and the catalyst composition contains at least one precious metal; and at least one mixed oxide; wherein the mixed oxide contains zirconium dioxide and silicon dioxide; wherein the precious metal is supported and the support is not entirely made of the mixed oxide; and wherein a mass ratio of zirconium dioxide to silicon dioxide in the mixed oxide is 86:14 to 99.9:0.1.

Catalyst system for producing ketones from epoxides

The invention relates to a method for the purification of poly(arylene ethers) of formula (I) in which m=0 to 1.0, n=1.0-m, and Ar, Ar, Arand Arindependently represent divalent arylene groups. The compound of formula (I) is produced in a first step 1, with a raw product being obtained by bringing a metal or ammonium salt of divalent dihydroxy derivatives of Aror Arinto contact with one or more dihalogenated derivatives of Arand/or Ar, in the presence of a solvent LM1. A precipitate that is present, if appropriate, is separated (step B) so as to obtain a solution L which then undergoes a membrane filtration (step C). 

Method for the purification of poly(arylene ethers)

Cyclododecanone (CDON) is prepared by epoxidizing cyclododecene (CDEN) to epoxycyclododecane (CDAN epoxide), and rearranging the CDAN epoxide to CDON to obtain a mixture comprising said CDON and cyclododecane (CDAN), wherein CDAN is separated from the CDON-containing mixture and oxidized to CDON.

Process for preparing cyclododecanone

Cyclododecanone (CDON) is prepared by epoxidizing cyclododecene (CDEN) to epoxycyclododecane (CDAN epoxide), and rearranging the CDAN epoxide to CDON to obtain a mixture comprising said CDON and CDEN, wherein CDEN is separated from the CDON-containing mixture and sent to the epoxidation to CDAN epoxide in step a.

A process for preparing a ketone by conversion of a compound E which contains an epoxy group to the ketone in the presence of a mixture comprising at least one noble metal and at least one metal oxide as a catalyst system, wherein the metal oxide in the catalyst system is at least one of titanium dioxide and zirconium dioxide, and the process is conducted at 0 to 0.9 bar of hydrogen.
