According to a computer-implemented method, a determination is made of content of an inbound request that is received at a composite software application from a client. The composite software application utilizes features from an application component that is deployed independently from the composite software application. A determination is made of content of an outbound request that is transmitted from the composite software application to the application component, with the outbound request being triggered by the inbound request. A determination is also made of content of a response to the inbound request that is transmitted from the composite software application to the client. The content of each of the inbound request, the response to the inbound request, and the outbound request are recorded in a repository as a baseline test case for regression testing of the composite software application.

A method includes extracting text elements from a webpage, storing the text elements in a data structure, and comparing the text elements in the data structure with a Document Object Model (DOM) structure of the webpage. The extracted text elements may then be processed and exported to a display format. Information from a webpage can, therefore, be extracted for processing using other applications regardless of how the elements were coded to form the webpage.

According to one aspect of the present disclosure, a computer-implemented method is disclosed. A view selection of one of a plurality of views is received, wherein each view has a respective predefined timeline display template. The software development data is formatted according to the predefined timeline display template of the view selection to obtain a timeline of the software development data. The timeline of the software development data is displayed on an electronic display.

A control server receives information from detector agents associated with an application program being executed by a processor. The information, which is collected by the detector agents at runtime of the application, includes data with which the control server can generate a representation of the software architecture for the application. The control server compares the generated representation to representations of a set of known acceptable architectures. Based on the results of that comparison, the control server indicates whether the architecture of the application is a valid architecture. Recommendations for modifying the architecture of the application may be made in cases where the architecture is not deemed valid by the control server.

A method for providing a source code version control system may comprise parsing source code of a software product to format the software product into a tree structure comprising a plurality of components. The method may comprise separating each of the plurality of components among the tree structure based upon respective content, and receiving an updated version of a component. In addition, the method may comprise comparing the updated version of the component to a previously checked-out version of the component to identify changes, and associating the changes with the respective content of the updated version of the component. Further, the method may comprise storing the identified changes of the updated version of the component, updating the tree structure, and presenting, based on a selected component, the updated version of the component, the identified changes with the updated version of the component, and the previously checked-out version of the component.

A maximum completion time, a minimum completion time and a composite metric are determined for phases common among the user stories. A chart displays the phases common among the user stories over the sprint time period. Sprint time period is used to define a first axis and phase completion time is used to define a second axis. A vertical bar is displayed for each respective phase, parallel with the second axis, having a top end on the second axis based on a maximum completion time for the respective phase and a bottom end on the second axis based on a minimum completion time.

An automated portion of a software test workflow is executed. Execution of the automated portion is halted responsive to a manual portion of the software test workflow that tests a target software code. A notification is sent to the user based on the manual portion of the software test workflow. The notification requests at least one input from the user. The input is received. Responsive to receipt of the input, execution of the automated portion of the software test workflow is resumed.
