A seat track assembly is disclosed. The seat track assembly includes an elongate titanium crown, an elongate carbon-fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) flange, and an elongate CFRP base. The elongate titanium crown is configured to removably secure a plurality of seats to the seat track assembly. The elongate CFRP flange is configured to support the elongate titanium crown. The elongate CFRP base has a top, two sidewalls extending vertically from opposing sides of the top, and two bottom flanges each extending laterally outward from a corresponding sidewall of the two sidewalls. A fastener is insertable through aligned holes defined by the elongate titanium crown, the elongate CFRP flange, and the elongate CFRP base to mechanically fasten the elongate titanium crown, the elongate CFRP flange, and the elongate CFRP base to each other.

Embodiments for aircraft pressure deck. One embodiment is a pressure deck of an aircraft. The pressure deck includes beams extending longitudinally along a fuselage of the aircraft, and a web attached to an underside of the beams, the web including arches between adjacent beams to allow the pressure deck to flex laterally. The pressure deck also includes a box structure between a middle pair of the beams and configured to transfer load forward to a rear spar of a wing of the aircraft and aft to an aft wheel well bulkhead of the aircraft. The pressure deck further includes a first intercostal outboard from the box structure and configured to stabilize a first outboard pair of the beams, and a second intercostal outboard from the first intercostal and coupled between a second outboard pair of the beams via a swing link to allow the second intercostal to flex laterally.

Methods and apparatuses may include a stiffened beam assembly including a structural beam portion having a web and upper and lower flanges, and at least one continuous stiffening member extending back and forth between the upper and lower flanges on one side of the web, forming one or more trusses or other reinforcing structures. The beam portion and/or the stiffening member(s) may comprise formed sheet metal. The stiffening member(s) may be mechanically attached to the beam portion.
