The present invention provides an inductance coil comprising a magnetic core and a coil, wherein the coil is formed by winding a flat wire, and the flat surface of the wire is perpendicular to the axis around which the coil is wound. The coil is wrapped with an insulating adhesive tape and the tape is wound on the wire around an axis which is substantially in line with the direction along which the wire forming the coil extends, so as to form an isolation layer on the surface of the coil. Additionally, the present invention provides an electromagnetic device including the above inductance coil.

The present invention provides a V/F control method for an induction motor comprising: extracting a reactive current and an active current and performing a differential calculation on them respectively to obtain a differential of the reactive current and a differential of the active current; multiplying the differential of the reactive current and the differential of the active current by a first coefficient and a second coefficient respectively; obtaining the sum of the result of multiplying the differential of the reactive current by the first coefficient and the result of multiplying the differential of the active current by the second coefficient; applying low-pass filtering on the sum to obtain a compensation; and superposing the compensation onto an original given angular frequency to perform V/F control.

An x-ray detector for obtaining x-ray images of an object is provided that is capable of increasing the ability of the detector to withstand shock and other types of forces acting on the enclosure to prevent and/or limit damage to the internal components of the detector. The enclosure includes an internal filler/force distribution layer formed from a lightweight, rigid material such as rigid foam and/or a suitable structure, such as a honeycomb or other lattice structure. A system for controlling operation of a motor drive during fast start-up of an induction motor is disclosed. The system includes an AC motor drive having a PWM inverter and a control system to generate a command signal to cause the PWM inverter to control an output of the AC motor drive. The control system includes a start-up modulator that is selectively operable during start-up acceleration of the AC motor, the start-up modulator programmed to determine a motor current applied to the AC motor and a voltage of a DC bus, generate a first frequency offset that causes a frequency reference of the command signal to be decreased when the motor current is greater than a reference current threshold, and generate a second frequency offset that causes the frequency reference of the command signal to be increased when the DC bus voltage is greater than a reference voltage threshold.

A motor drive for conditioning power to be delivered to a non-motor load includes a voltage feedback circuit that monitors a DC bus voltage and, based on changes in the DC bus voltage, adjusts a power conditioning scheme such that near steady-state load conditions are maintained in response to a transient load condition. A method for dynamically controlling regenerating energy flow and direct current bus voltage for an adjustable frequency drive system includes sensing a direct current voltage of a direct current bus; and sensing a plurality of alternating currents at outputs of an inverter. The sensed alternating currents are transformed to a stationary current vector. Voltage and frequency values are converted to a stationary voltage vector and an angle. The angle and the stationary current vector are transformed to a rotating current vector including torque and flux producing current components. An induction machine generating mode is determined when the torque producing current component reverses polarity. The voltage and frequency values limit the direct current voltage of the direct current bus at a predetermined threshold responsive to the generating mode. The stationary voltage vector and the angle are converted to pulse width modulated control inputs of the inverter.
