An energy recovery ventilation unit includes an energy recovery ventilation core and a dehumidification system comprising an evaporation unit and a condensing unit. The energy recovery ventilation core receives a first and second airflow and discharges the first and second airflow after the first and second airflow experience heat and mass transfer. The evaporation unit generates a first output airflow comprising a lower relative humidity than the first airflow and directs the first output airflow into a building. The condensing unit generates a second output airflow at a higher temperature than the second airflow and discharges the second output airflow to an unconditioned space.

An energy recovery ventilation unit includes an energy recovery ventilation core, a dehumidification system comprising an evaporation unit and a condensing unit, a first set of dampers, and a second set of dampers. In a first mode of operation, the first set of dampers is in a first position configured to inhibit the flow of a first airflow from a first panel inlet, and the second set of dampers is in a first position configured to inhibit the flow of a second airflow from a second panel inlet. In a second mode of operation, at least one of the first set of dampers and the second set of dampers is actuated to a second position wherein at least one of the first airflow and the second airflow flows to any one of the energy recovery ventilation core, the evaporation unit, and the condensing unit.

A portable blower fan assembly that includes a housing that forms a pair of air tunnels. The pair of air tunnels are configured to provide a first airflow path across a surface in a downward direction. The portable blower fan assembly further includes a pair of fan assemblies. Each fan assembly is positioned within one of the air tunnels with a downward angle. The portable blower fan assembly further includes a power supply that is configured to provide electrical power to the first motor and the second motor.

Devices for dispensing toilet treatment tablets into toilet bowls when a button is actuated are disclosed. In one version, the device includes: (i) a toilet cover; (ii) a dispenser mounted to the cover; (iii) a plurality of solid tablets stored in the dispenser so as to be dispensable therefrom, wherein at least one of the tablets includes a toilet treatment chemical; and (iv) an actuator for moving a tablet from a ready position of the dispenser to a release position. In another version, the invention provides a handheld device including a body having a cover and a hollow wall connected to the cover. The cover and the wall define an interior space in the body, and the cover includes a dispensing slot. The device also includes a removable tablet holder suitable for holding a plurality of solid tablets. A tablet retainer of the tablet holder is located within the cover when the tablet holder is installed within the body. The tablet retainer retains a tablet in a ready position for dispensing. An actuator is disposed in the cover for moving a tablet from the ready position out through the dispensing slot.

A device () for cleaning surfaces is provided utilizing a web () of a tackified sheet material movably secured between rollers () on the device () that enable the web () to be moved over the surface in opposite directions. The device () includes a supply roller () and a take-up roller () secured to opposed ends of the web () of adhesive sheet material, with at least one roller () including a biasing mechanism () disposed within the roller (). The web () can be engaged with the surface by passing over a number of idler rollers () positioned between the supply roller () and take-up roller (). The biasing mechanism () is designed to bias the movement of the web () onto the take-up roller (), such that the mechanism () can be selectively operated to advance the web () from the supply roller () to the take-up roller () to expose a clean section of the adhesive sheet material (). A synchronization mechanism () is also connected between the rollers () to enable the rollers () to rotate in a synchronous manner, regardless of the amount of the web () that is positioned on the rollers () to continually tension the web () a proper amount.

Toilet bowl treating/cleaning assemblies are provided. In one form the toilet seat lid has mounted on it a dispenser in a fashion so that pivoting of the lid assists in controlling dispensing of a solid pill containing a treating chemical. Also, structures are provided to avoid dispensing when a consumer determines that bowl treatment is not needed, and to facilitate dispensing in response to manual activation.

Portable devices for mitigating the accumulation and localized settling of airborne particulates are provided. The devices establish airflow patterns which push or carry various airborne particulates outwardly away therefrom, thereby establishing a localized zone having relatively fewer airborne particulates. Correspondingly, each the devices establishes a localized zone, defined circumferentially about the perimeter of the device, in which there is relatively less surface accumulation of particulates which were previously airborne and settled out. The devices establish such airflow patterns by proving a fan which draws a volume of air axially through a top portion of the device, then pushes the volume of air axially down through the device where it is radially emitted from the bottom portion of the device, defining a circumferentially expanding plane of airflow.

A sprayer is disclosed that may be attached to a garden hose for cleaning exterior surfaces such as windows. By turning a flow selector in a single direction tap water from the hose first flows through the sprayer to rinse the surface to be cleaned. The flow selector can then be set to spray a mixture of cleaner (e.g., one or more surfactants) and surface modifier (e.g., one or more polymers) and water on the surface. The flow selector can then be set to an off position to allow for scrubbing of the surface with a scrubbing tool. The flow selector can then be set to rinse the surface with untreated water, and the flow selector can be turned further to rinse the surface with filtered tap water produced by a filter in the sprayer. Also disclosed are unitary cartridges providing a combined replacement of the cleaning surfactant and a filtering system for deionizing the water.
