A scissor link includes a first component defining a first bore and including first outer pads defining first and second holes and a first recession defining a first threaded hole, a second component defining a second bore and including second outer pads defining third and fourth holes and a second recession defining a second threaded hole, a shim disposable between the first and second outer pads of the first and second components, a stud to engage with each of the first and second threaded holes to tighten the first and second components about the shim and flanking bolts insertible through respective pairs of the first through fourth holes of the first and second components.

Adjustable scissor link

A swashplate of a blade pitch control assembly is provided including a metal component having one or more interfacing features. The metal component includes a hollow first cylinder having a first flange extending outwardly from a first end thereof and a second flange extending outwardly from a second end thereof. A sidewall extends between the first and second flanges such that a cavity is defined between the first flange, the second flange, and the sidewall. A plurality of connecting members is connected to a portion of the first flange and the second flange and is spaced about a periphery of the first cylinder. A tubular composite component is arranged at least partially within the cavity between adjacent pairs of the connecting members.

Composite reinforced swashplate

A swashplate guide for use with a spherical bearing and which connects with an adjacent component includes a hollow cylindrical tube formed from a composite material. An exterior surface of the hollow cylindrical tube provides an engagement surface with the spherical bearing. A flange arranged at an end of the hollow cylindrical tube provides an interface with the adjacent component.

Composite swashplate guide for rotorcraft control systems

A rotor hub assembly for a rotary-winged aircraft includes a spool portion and a plurality of hub arms extending radially outwardly from the spool portion. A rotor blade is connectable to each hub arm. Each hub arm includes a spine portion and at least two leg portions extending from the spine portion. The spine portion and the at least two leg portions defining an I-shaped cross-section of each hub arm. A rotor assembly includes a rotor hub assembly including a spool portion and a plurality of hub arms extending radially outwardly from the spool portion. Each hub arm includes a spine portion and at least two leg portions extending from the spine portion. The spine portion and the at least two leg portions define an I-shaped cross-section of each hub arm. A rotor blade is secured to each hub arm.

Rotor hub for rotary wing aircraft

A rotary wing aircraft yoke is provided including an arcuate medial portion. A pair of arms extends from the medial portion and each terminates in a distal end. The yoke is made from multiple plies of glass and graphite fibers of varying orientations. The number of graphite plies increases along each arm from adjacent the medial portion to the distal end.
