A patient lift and extraction apparatus includes adjustable, generally parallel legs connected by a cross member having a support member with a projecting boom. The support member may be adjustably located between the legs. A patient lift strap in the boom supports a patient in combination with a patient sling.

A patient transport apparatus includes a sling for movement of a person from or into a vehicle seat supported by a dual legged horizontal frame mounted on rollers or wheels with a generally vertical, telescoping post having a cantilever arm extending therefrom. A cable or strap supported by the cantilever arm is attached to the adjustable body sling which designed to securely hold a patient during transport.

A steering column pivot pin removal tool includes a bridge support with a jack nut having a cap screw threaded therethrough for engagement with a pivot pin of a steering assembly. The jack nut is held in place by an O-ring. Clockwise rotation of the jack nut effects withdrawal of the pivot pin engaged by the cap screw.

An LED flashlight construction is formed from molded plastic housing members joined to provide a tubular section connected to a battery chamber capable of holding one or more disc batteries capable of providing adequate voltage for operating a light emitting diode positioned at the distal end of the tubular section. A conductive metal pocket clip may be elastically deformed for closure of the circuit to provide power to the light emitting diode.

A throttle pedal depressor for a vehicle includes an adjustable hook and locking plate for maintaining the hook in a fixed position on a shaft. A rubber tip is provided at one end of the shaft for engaging a pedal and a screw assembly is rotatably adjustable to provide fine adjustment.

A combination magnetic pick up tool and inspection mirror includes a telescoping handle with a connection fixture to a magnetic pick up element. A separable mirror assembly may be attached to the magnetic pick up element. The tool thus may include a mirror assembly or a magnetic pick up element at the top section or distal end of the tool and may be easily converted from an inspection mirror to a pick up tool.

A chuck key tool includes a hub with a magnet positioned on the hub. Spokes project radially from the hub and include chuck keys defined at the end of each of the spokes. The magnetic hub enables storage and easy access to the chuck key tool.
