A method and system for tracking electronic communications between a customer phone and a user mobile device for compliance with regulations are provided. The system includes a server configured to send an email to an Enterprise Information Archiving system capable of archiving the email for at least one of eDiscovery and compliance with one or more regulations. The server can associate a virtual phone number with a mobile app residing on a user mobile device and to either: (i) receive a communication originated from the mobile app and intended for a customer phone, and send the communication the customer phone; or (ii) receive a communication originated from a customer phone and sent by the customer phone to the virtual phone number, and send the communication to the mobile app. The server also is configured to include content from the communication in the email.

System and method for tracking and archiving mobile communications

A method of verifying communications between a first phone and a second phone includes the steps of: receiving at a server a communication between the first phone and the second phone, wherein at least one of the first phone and the second phone is designated for retention; at the server, sending the communication to a blockchain to preserve the integrity of the communication; at the server, storing the blockchain information with communication records, so that the communication integrity can be verified against the blockchain; and at the server, sending at least one of the blockchain information and the communication records to an electronic-discovery system so that the communication can be verified against the blockchain.

Blockchain for validating communications archiving

A system for tracking electronic communications of a subscriber includes a gateway configured to track a communication between a mobile device and a subscriber mobile device that has a subscriber software module associated with a subscriber business number. The gateway is configured to send the communication to an Enterprise Information Archiving system. The gateway also is configured to: (i) if the communication is sent from the subscriber software module intended for the mobile device, send the communication to the mobile device via at least one of an SMS, MMS, and voice communication capability of the mobile device; and (ii) if the communication is sent from the mobile device to the subscriber business number via at least one of an SMS, MMS, and voice communication capability of the mobile device, send the communication to the subscriber software module associated with the subscriber business number.

A method and system is provided for evaluating an application manufacturer's credibility to produce or maintain a mobile device application. The method includes gathering information about an application manufacturer, wherein the information includes at least one of: (i) publicly available information about the manufacture; (ii) private information provided by the manufacturer; and (iii) source code information for the application developed by the manufacturer. With the computer system, the gathered information is stored in a manufacturer profile, which includes a plurality of attributes of the manufacturer. The computer system uses the manufacturer profile to calculate a score for the manufacturer, which is then used to calculate an application risk score associated with applications produced or maintained by the manufacturer. The risk score reflects, at least in part, the credibility of the manufacturer to produce or maintain the mobile device application.

Method and system to intelligently assess and mitigate security risks on a mobile device

A system tracks and archives communications between a mobile device and a telephone (which could be another mobile device) or an enterprise application software module. A gateway receives communications from and sends communications to a mobile software application installed on a mobile device. Communications can include text, multimedia voice and/or video information. When the mobile software application or enterprise application software module directs a communication to the telephone, the gateway determines whether to send the communication to the telephone via a copy of the mobile software application on the telephone or via a PBX system or a virtual number. Furthermore, the gateway sends a copy of the communication to an archiving system. To process the communication for archiving, the gateway can reformat the communication, create metadata associated with it, associate tags with it, encrypt it, compress it and/or transmit it.

A system and method having a first software module of a server recorded on a computer-readable medium programmed to receive a request for information from a user. The user sends a text message to a short code, where the information depends on a generic assigned identification associated with real estate information, automobile information, and/or personal property information. The server communicated with a third party server to obtain the real estate information, automobile information, and/or personal property information requested by the user. A system and method are provided for tracking messages communicated using mobile devices. A message received at a server is originated at a first mobile device and is sent by the first mobile device to a virtual number associated with a software module configured to nm as an application on a second mobile device having a phone number. At the server, it is determined that the virtual number is associated with the software module on the second mobile device. With the server, the message is sent to the software module on the second mobile device, and at the server, the message is logged. The virtual number can comprise a long code. The message can be a short messaging service (SMS) message, a voice communication or an email.

System and method for tracking SMS messages

A system for establishing a registration for secure communication between a mobile device and a server includes a server configured to: determine the phone number of the mobile device from which the SMS or MMS message is originated; and verify the phone number of the mobile device originating the SMS or MMS message against a whitelist to authorize a registration between the mobile device and the server. The server can establish an encryption key between the mobile device and the server, which can used to provide or enhance encryption of a voice communication, such as a VoIP communication, made using the mobile device. The server can renew the encryption key based on one or more policies determined by an administrator. The server can be configured to verify a secure identification code that is input at the mobile device and which can be provided to a user of the mobile device before the mobile device is registered with the server.

A system and method having a first software module of a server recorded on a computer-readable medium programmed to receive a request for information from a user. The user requests a purchase of a lottery ticket, information on lottery laws and regulations, and lottery winnings distribution information using at least one of a short code and a long code and a generic assigned identification. A method of establishing a registration between a mobile device and a server includes receiving at the server an SMS or MMS from a mobile device. The server receives the phone number of the mobile device, verifies the phone number of the mobile device against a whitelist to authorize a registration between the mobile device and the server, and verifies a secure identification code that is input at the mobile device. The secure identification code is provided to a user of the mobile phone before the mobile device is registered with the server. The secure identification code can be provided to the user via an administrator of the server. An encryption key established between the mobile device and the server can be used to provide or enhance encryption of a voice communication, such as a VoIP communication, made using the mobile device.

Methods for authorizing actions using mobile phones. Embodiments include receiving from a person having authority to authorize the action, an identification of a phone number for obtaining authorization for the action, receiving from a person seeking the action a request for authorization of the action, sending an automated first message through a mobile phone network to the mobile phone, including a description of the action for which authorization is requested, and receiving, from the first mobile phone, a second message, which authorizes the action. Actions that are authorized, in different embodiments, include computer access, physical access, and financial transactions. In various embodiments, the phone number may be received through the mobile phone network through the Internet, through a local signal, or directly from the user.
