Systems and methods are disclosed for automated container stacking stations. In one embodiment, an example system may include a housing having a first side and a second side, a lifting component configured to lift a first container from a first position to a second position, and to lower the first container from the second position to a third position, such that the first container is stacked on a second container, and a container centering component having a first container engagement member and a second container engagement member, the container centering component configured to align the first container in a predetermined position.

Systems and methods are provided herein for utilizing controller device within a workspace. The controller device may operate in a first state to monitor a light curtain associated with an interaction area of the workspace and to cause an indication of the first state to be presented at an indicator device associated with the interaction area. While operating in the first state, the controller device may detect a breach of the light curtain. The controller device may perform at least one remedial action based at least in part on detecting the breach of the light curtain while operating in the first state.

Approaches and related devices monitor the condition of a battery via voltage measurement during routine recharging instances. An approach includes supplying a charging current to the battery during each of a plurality of routine charging instances. The charging current is increased by a measured or predetermined amount during a current pulse portion of each of the routine charging instances. A resulting change in a battery voltage of the battery during the current pulse portion of each of the routine charging instances is measured. An impedance-indicative value of the battery is determined for each of the routine charging instances based on the change in the battery voltage during the current pulse portion. The impedance-indicative value is stored in a memory device for each of the routine charging instances. A condition of the battery is estimated based on one or more changes in the impedance-indicative values.

The motor controller includes a control unit that receives motor operation commands and controls operation of the ECM in accordance with the motor operation commands. The control unit receives and stores data designating ECM type and estimates rotor position based on the designated ECM type.
