A tool holder insertion device includes a frame extending from a proximal end to a distal end, the frame including first and second longitudinal arms extending between the distal end and the proximal end. The frame also includes a distal transverse arm connected to respective distal ends of the first and second longitudinal arms, a proximal transverse arm opposite the distal transverse arm, and an internal space extending from the distal transverse arm, the internal space forming an insertion opening. The tool holder insertion device also includes a drive assembly fixed to the frame, the drive assembly including a pushing surface that is movable within the internal space toward the distal end of the frame.

Tool holder installation device and system

A bit removal device may include a support, an extractor coupled to the support, and an actuator. The support is configured to engage a bit holder from a front side of the bit holder. The extractor is configured to engage a bit from the front side of the bit holder. The actuator is configured to move the extractor relative to the support to extract the bit from the bit holder.

Rotor bit removal device

A bit holder can include a body and a collar. The body can be mountable to a rotor of a piece of equipment. The collar can be coupled to the body and can be configured to receive the bit therein. The collar can include a first flat collar surface forming a portion of a radially outer surface of the collar and a second flat collar surface forming a portion of the radially outer surface of the collar.

A paddle for a reclaiming drum may include a block of material configured for attachment to a leading edge of a flighting supporting a cutting bit on the reclaiming drum, and the block of material may assist in breaking up and mixing material removed from a surface by the cutting bit as the reclaiming drum is rotated and moved into the surface. The paddle may include two ear portions protruding from opposite sides of a flat, centrally-located, aft-facing surface of the block of material, each of the ear portions including an inwardly-facing chamfered surface configured to interface with an outwardly-facing, leading edge chamfered surface of the flighting such that a gap is maintained between a flat leading edge surface of the flighting located in between the outwardly-facing chamfered surfaces and the flat, centrally-located, aft-facing surface of the block of material when the block of material is attached to the flighting.

A tool adapter comprises a body including at least one elongated portion defining a longitudinal axis, a first end and a second end disposed along the longitudinal axis, a flange disposed between the first and second ends along the longitudinal axis, and an exterior surface extending along the longitudinal axis, and a collar portion defining a collar outer surface and the body defines a first groove disposed adjacent the first end extending along the longitudinal axis on the outer collar surface along the majority of the longitudinal length of the collar portion.

Tool adapter for a rotary tool

A tool holder is disclosed for use with a milling drum. The tool holder may have a cylindrical body defining a first end and a second end, the first end configured to be received within a tool mounting block of the milling drum, the second end configured to receive a cutting bit. A flange may be located between the first and second end with respect to an axial direction, and a first bore, with a first opening defined by the second end and extending towards the first end. A frustoconical portion may be located between the flange and the first end with respect to the axial direction and a cylindrical portion located between the flange and the first end. At least one radial opening may pass through at least the wall of the cylindrical portion to intersect or be open to the first bore.

Milling tool holder

A walkway for a screed includes a main walkway and an extender walkway coupled to the main walkway and an extender frame of the screed. The extender walkway is slidable relative to the main walkway along a sliding direction. Further, the extender walkway and the extender frame are pivotable relative to each other about a walkway pivot axis, the walkway pivot axis being substantially perpendicular to the sliding direction.

Screed walkway

A utility compactor is disclosed that includes a roller disposed on top of and connected to a base plate. The roller has two opposing vertical supports. The compactor also includes an eccentric vibratory shaft extending between and rotatably connected to the two vertical supports of the roller. The eccentric vibratory shaft includes a first rotor shaft coaxially spaced apart from a second rotor shaft. The first and second rotor shafts are coupled together by an offset shaft. The offset shaft has an I-beam cross section and includes a first angled portion, a second angled portion and a center portion disposed between and coupling the first and second angled portions together. The first angled portion is coupled to the first rotor shaft; the second angled portion is coupled to the second rotor shaft. The first and second angled portions are angled with respect to a first axis passing through the first and second rotor shafts such that the center portion has a second axis that is offset from and at least substantially parallel to the first axis.

Eccentric vibratory weight shaft for utility compactor

A split drum is provided for a compacting work machine and includes a first and a second drum section. A support arrangement defines a housing that surrounds a vibratory mechanism and is adapted to support the first and second drum sections. The support arrangement comprises a first support member and a second support member that are rotatably connected. Rotational power may be supplied to the first and second drum sections through the use of a propel motor. The first and second drum sections may be rotated at equal speeds or different speeds relative to one another.

Split drum and support arrangement for a compacting work machine

A split drum is provided for a compacting work machine and includes a first and a second drum section. A differential arrangement is operatively positioned between the first and second drum sections. Rotational power is supplied to the first and second drum sections through the differential arrangement which is connected with a propel motor. The first and second drum sections are rotated simultaneously by grounding either the first or second drum section with the propel motor. Releasing the grounding allows the first drum section to counter rotate relative to the second drum section.

Split drum for a compacting work machine

An arrangement for cooling a bearing assembly. The arrangement includes a drum assembly having (i) a drum member having an interior sidewall, (ii) a first bulkhead secured to the interior sidewall, (iii) a second bulkhead secured to the interior sidewall, (iv) an interior cavity defined by the interior sidewall, the first bulkhead, and the second bulkhead, (v) a drive plate secured to the drum member, (vi) a planetary gear box secured to the drive plate, and (vii) a drive motor mechanically coupled to the planetary gear box such that actuation of the drive motor causes the drum member to rotate around a central axis thereof. The arrangement also includes a first bearing assembly positioned within the interior cavity. The arrangement further includes a first dipping member having a first dipping cavity defined therein. The first dipping member is positioned within the interior cavity, wherein when a first volume of cooling liquid is positioned within the interior cavity, rotation of the drum member around a central axis thereof causes (i) the dipping member to be advanced through the first volume of cooling liquid such that a second volume of cooling liquid is captured within the dipping cavity and (ii) the second volume of cooling liquid to be poured out of the dipping cavity such that the second volume of cooling liquid contacts the bearing assembly.
