A tea maker includes a brewing unit which defines a vessel having an upper opening with a spout disposed thereon. A lid assembly is removeably received on the upper opening of the vessel and includes a steeping tube. The steeping tube extends downwardly from the lid assembly into the vessel when the lid assembly is received on the upper opening of the vessel. An articulating filter assembly is coupled to the lid assembly and includes a filter plate that is operable between an extended position and a retracted position. The filter plate is configured to contact an inner surface of the vessel when the filter plate is in the extended position. A biasing member is configured to bias the filter plate towards the extended position for filtering a brewed tea mixture as the mixture is poured through the upper opening of the vessel.

A food processor includes a bowl with a removable lid. Food items are advanced into the bowl through a feed tube formed in the lid where they are cut by a blade assembly. A rotating disk is adjustable relative to the blade assembly to vary the thickness of the food items cut by the blade assembly.

Food items are advanced into the bowl through a feed tube formed in the lid where they are cut by a cutting assembly driven by a motor. The cutting assembly is adjustable to vary the thickness of the cut food items. A coffee press apparatus includes an outer container having a cavity with upper and lower portions. A handle assembly extends outwardly from on the outer container and includes a user interface. An inner vessel is disposed in the upper portion of the cavity of the outer container. A scale assembly is coupled to the inner vessel and disposed in the lower portion of the cavity of the outer container. The scale assembly is electrically coupled to the user interface in assembly and configured to weigh the contents of the inner vessel in use. A plunger assembly extends into a cavity of the inner vessel and is slideably received through a lid assembly. The plunger assembly includes a first filter assembly, and the lid assembly includes a second filter assembly.

A coffee grinder apparatus includes a housing with a support base, a pedestal portion, and a motor housing extending outwardly from the pedestal portion above the support base to define a jar receiving area. A motor is disposed in the motor housing and is operably coupled to a grinder assembly. A hopper is operably coupled to an upper mounting portion of the motor housing disposed above the grinder assembly. The hopper includes a cavity configured to hold coffee beans with an open base portion opening into the grinder assembly. A collection jar is configured for reception in the jar receiving area and includes a vessel defining a cavity for collecting ground coffee expelled from the grinder assembly during a grinding procedure. An integrated scale assembly is disposed in the collection jar for weighing the ground coffee as received in the collection jar.

A flow restrictor assembly for a beverage kettle having a valve member that moves with respect to an opening in the interior of the beverage kettle to restrict the flow of liquid from the opening in the beverage kettle. The valve member may be coupled to a handle that enables movement of the valve member into varying positions with respect to the opening to control the flow rate.
