A size-adjustable hanging tie down device and method of securing objects creates a synergy within a resilient strap, using a fixed fastener, and a variable-adjustment fastener to form a fixed-size first loop, and a size-adjustable second loop, respectively. The formed first loop securely mounts to a mounting surface, like a hook, to restrict slippage or movement while supporting the weight of object. A first fastener, such as a grommet, fastens a first length of the strap together to form the fixed-size first loop. The second loop is size-adjusted through a female second fastener and a male second fastener, so as to allow for the secure attachment of variably sized and dimensioned objects. The second fasteners may include a buckle, or a hook and loop fastener. Additional attachment mechanisms, such as a carabiner are easily attached to the first loop for increasing length and mounting capacity while hanging the object.

A tie down system includes at least one device hook having a hook base; at least one hook opening in the hook base; a generally elongated hook shaft extending from the hook base; a curved hook finger extending from the hook shaft; a hook base extension extending from the hook base in spaced-apart relationship to the hook shaft; and a hook slot between the hook shaft and the hook base extension.

Tie down system

A tensioning tie down apparatus enables a securing member to intertwine through multiple apertures and gaps in a tensioning member to generate tension through the securing member, which helps securely tie down objects and restrict slippage of the securing member. A securing member has a first securing member end and a second securing member end. The securing member is configured to have sufficient tensile strength and resiliency to stretch and bend, which helps create tension on the securing member. The tension helps tie down an object into a secure position, while also inhibiting slippage. The tensioning member has a hook shaped mounting member that forms a mounting gap. An extension member extends from the mounting member. A base extends perpendicularly form the extension member. The base is defined by a plurality of apertures. A base shaft extends from the base to form a base gap. One intertwining configuration has the securing member looping around mounting gap, the base gap, the apertures, and the object.

A warning apparatus alerts a home owner to unsafe temperatures in the stove pipe of a wood- or coal-burning stove by signaling an alarm if the pipe gets too hot, thereby providing a warning against a potential fire hazard that can be caused by creosote build-up.

Overheated stove pipe alarm

A dual-stream envelope feeding attachment for a sheet feeding printing press comprising a register bar centrally located in the feed path of the press between oppositely reciprocating joggers moving the envelopes into lateral registration against opposite sides of the register bar. The register bar can be assembled in a removable unit with a pair of oppositely disposed sheet riders urging the fed envelopes into contact with conveyor means on the press proximate to opposite sides of the register bar. A separator plate, having a thickness greater than the lateral width of the register bar, is mounted in alignment with the register bar on a stack feeder for initially positioning pairs of envelopes on the conveyor laterally separated from the register bar in preparation for registration thereto by the joggers. A press conveyor section having a pair of adjustably located conveyor tapes and another conveyor tape centrally located therebetween by a scissors mechanism, a pair of central conveyor tapes being substituted symmetrically at opposite sides of the register bar.
