A float comprises an outer float wall, an inner guide, and a float base. The float base further comprises an outer perimeter and a disk portion. The disk portion includes a central aperture to allow the float base to move with respect to a sleeve. A plurality of apertures are formed within the disk structure. In addition, a structure is formed within the float base to allow the float base to be captured within a bottom portion of the float at a fastening structure.

A gear driven trip lever for a toilet comprises a handle, a handle stop and a torsion spring disposed outside the tank. Inside the tank is a gear driven trip lever subassembly comprising a home position rack that is secured to a mounting plate and a spring-loaded clutch cam. The end of the flush lever nearest the gear driven trip lever subassembly is configured as a geared structure that meshes with gears disposed on a home position rack. When a user pushes the flush handle, the home position rack lifts the geared flush lever. The clutch cam contacts and slides on the home position rack as it moves downwardly. When the flush handle is fully depressed downwardly, the clutch cam releases the home position rack which returns to its home position via a compression spring and the geared flush lever is returned to its home position.

Gear-driven trip lever with clutch assembly

The fill valve and assembly provides an elongated cylindrical water supply tube and a valve seat disposed atop the water supply tube. The valve seat comprises a circular inner valve seat portion and a circular outer valve seat portion between which extend support structures in the form of a plurality of lands and spokes. A bridge is disposed in the center of the valve seat structure about the inner valve seat portion and atop the plurality of lands and spokes. A main diaphragm valve is disposed atop the valve seat structure such that the bridge is disposed between the valve seat structure and the main diaphragm valve. The present invention provides for a thinner and softer durometer EPDM material for the main diaphragm which is advantageous for improved function while the bridge prevents the thin section of the main diaphragm valve from being abraded or cut when high pressures try to push the diaphragm into the spokes.

Pilot operated diaphragm fill valve and assembly for reducing hydrostatic shock

An apparatus comprises a ring, a top portion, and a bottom portion. The apparatus further comprises a first leg and a second leg. In addition, the apparatus comprises a horizontal portion. The horizontal portion connects the first leg and the second leg. The legs and horizontal portion, together with an adhesive, overlay and sealingly engage the top rim of a flush valve wall, which is part of a toilet flush valve.

A modular waxless seal for sealing a connection between a bottom of a toilet and a floor flange, the floor flange comprising a central aperture and opposing fasteners that extend upwardly from the floor flange, the seal comprises a rubber seal portion and at least one foam ring disposed above the top surface of the sealing ring of the rubber seal portion. The rubber seal portion and the foam rings comprise opposing ears that extend outwardly and each opposing ear comprises an aperture that aligns with one of the opposing fasteners of the floor flange.

A fill valve for a water storage tank, the fill valve comprising a riser assembly, a valve housing mounted on an upper end of the riser assembly, a pilot orifice in the valve housing, and a sensor adapted to be mounted within the water storage tank. The sensor is responsive to a water level within the water storage tank, and a pilot valve mechanism opens and closes the pilot orifice in response to the sensor determining the water level in the fill tank.

A device may comprise a lower handle and an upper handle. The lower handle may further comprise an opening disposed along the length of the lower handle, a key channel disposed on an inner surface of the lower handle, and a key stop integrally formed with the key channel. The upper handle may further comprise an integrally formed key to engage with the key channel, a spring clip including a spring clip button and an O-ring. The upper handle may further include an integrally formed top handle extending perpendicular to the upper handle.

An improved flapper valve has an elastomeric surrounding flapper valve top. A separate inverted dome-like structure, or cone, which is the ballast, is included for insertion into the flapper valve top. The improved flapper valve further includes a ring-like upper structure and a cap-like bottom structure. The ring-like upper 'vent band' structure rotates about the cone relative to an air outlet aperture defined in the cone to control air flow from the cone. The bottom cap-like 'adjuster' structure also rotates about the bottom of the cone to control water flow into the cone, also via apertures in both structures. Used together, the upper and bottom structures can minimize water consumption by the toilet. Further, the adjuster structure includes means for discretely changing settings with indicia to indicate to the user what the current setting is and means for maintaining that setting as may be desired or required.

A flush lever comprises a handle and a skirt, or escutcheon plate, both disposed to the exterior of a toilet tank. Within the tank is a flush lever subassembly, the subassembly taking one of two different embodiments and each embodiment comprising means for mechanically linking the flush lever with the subassembly. One portion of the flush lever can be variably adjustable within 360&#xb0; of rotation and by adjustments every 15&#xb0; for optimal placement of the flush lever as desired or required. Another portion of the flush lever can be variably adjustable within 180&#xb0; of rotation as well and by adjustments also every 15&#xb0;.

An improved toilet flapper valve is used to cover and seal a main flush valve orifice, which flapper valve comprises a pair of rotatable legs and leg clips having two-way adjustment capabilities and which serve to function as mounting arms. The two-way adjustment of the rotatable leg clips allows for use of the same flapper valve with a variety of makes and models of flush valves, and flush valves having pegs that may be spaced apart so as to adjust for pegs that may have different diameters or that may be separated from one another by different distances depending on the flush valve used in the toilet. The flapper valve of the present invention also includes a variably-adjustable air outlet capability.
