The invention relates to an additive-manufacture feedstock, comprising a heterophasic copolymer having a melt flow rate of from 0.1 to 150 g/10 min (230° C./2.16 kg), measured according to ASTM D 1238, and a fiber blended in the heterophasic copolymer. The first-fiber-blended heterophasic copolymer, when in the form of a printed article, exhibits a minimized warpage. The invention also relates to methods of making the additive-manufacture feedstock and methods of 3D printing using the additive-manufacture feedstock in various forms.

Fiber-blended heterophasic copolymer for additive-manufacture feedstock

The invention relates to a sinterable polymer composition, comprising: a random copolymer of propylene and an olefinic comonomer, containing about 2 to 10 wt % olefinic comonomer content, relative to 100 wt % of the random copolymer. The sinterable polymer composition may also contain at least one of a clarifier and a nucleator, and/or at least one additive selected from the group consisting of a primary antioxidant, a secondary antioxidant, an acid scavenger, a peroxide, an enhanced IR energy absorber, a long-term heat agent, and a polyolefin elastomer. The sinterable polymer composition has a melt flow rate from about 1 to 150 g/10 min (230° C./2.16 kg), measured according to ASTM D 1238; a crystallization temperature, Tc, from about 105 to 150° C.; and a xylene solubles content, XS, from about 3% to 40%.

Polypropylene polymers for powder bed fusion based additive manufacturing

A foamable composition including a polypropylene-based copolymer and a polyolefin is disclosed. The composition can be used to make a stiff foam with a high closed-cell content. Methods for producing the composition and the foam are provided.

Compositions for polyolefin foams

A composition comprising polypropylene having a high melt strength suitable for an injection stretch blow molding (ISBM) process is provided. Such a composition includes a polypropylene (PP) copolymer having a branched structure. The PP copolymer is a random copolymer derived from propylene and at least one comonomer selected from ethylene, any C-Calpha-olefin, or any combinations thereof. The composition has a melt flow index in a range of from 8 g/10 minutes to 30 g/10 minutes. A resulting fabricated article, a method of making the composition, and a method of using the composition are also provided.

Composition comprising polypropylene for injection stretch blow molding, methods of making and using the same

A polymer composition providing optical clarity and impact resistance includes from about 40 weight percent (wt. %) to about 99.9 wt. % (e.g., 50-95 wt. %) of a continuous matrix, and from about 0.01 wt. % to about 60 wt. % (e.g., 5-50 wt. %) of a dispersed phase. The weight percentages of the matrix phase and the dispersed phase are based on the total weight of the matrix phase and the dispersed phase. The matrix phase may comprise a polypropylene polymer comprising from 0 to 7 mole percent (mol. %) of units derived from ethylene, a C-Calpha olefin or combinations thereof. The dispersed phases may be a propylene/alpha olefin copolymer having from 10 mol. % to 70 mol. % of units derived from ethylene or a C-Calpha olefin or combinations thereof.
