The present disclosure relates generally to systems and methods that enable access control for digital objects based on measured physiological signals of a user. A method of operation of a human mind interface (HMI) system includes measuring, via a physiological sensor of a HMI device, a brain pattern of a user while the user retrieves a digital object after training. The method includes identifying, via a processor of the HMI device, the measured brain pattern stored in a memory of the HMI device, and determining, via the processor, the digital object stored in the memory that is associated with the identified brain pattern. The method includes accessing, via the processor, the digital object and retrieving information contained in the digital object and providing, via the processor of the HMI device, the information contained in the digital object to a recipient on behalf of the user.

Techniques are disclosed for configuring a virtual machine instance accessed over a publically routable network address to host intranet applications. A virtual (or 'dummy') interface on the virtual machine instance is assigned an IP address that is inaccessible from the public interface. An application executed on the virtual machine instance is bound to a port on the network address assigned to this dummy interface. A virtual private network server assigns client's IP addresses that can be routed to the dummy interface. When a client computing system connects to the VPN server over the virtual machine instance's public interface, the client forwards traffic destined for the dummy interface's inaccessible network over the VPN connection.

The present disclosure relates to systems and methods that enable inclusion of emotional context in indirect communications based on measured physiological signals of a user. A method of operation of a human mind interface (HMI) system includes determining that a user is preparing an indirect communication, and receiving a measurement of physiological signals related to the user's brain activity. The method includes identifying, within a plurality of stored brain patterns, a brain pattern that corresponds to the measurement received from the physiological sensors; determining, within a plurality of stored emotional states, an emotional state that is linked to the identified brain pattern; and determining, within a plurality of stored expressions, an expression that is linked to the determined emotional state. The method includes augmenting the indirect communication of the user with the determined expression to yield an augmented indirect communication, and sending the augmented indirect communication to the recipient.
