A method and apparatus filter light spectrum. Ambient light conditions of light that is ambient to a user device can be sensed. Ambient light color conditions can be determined based on the sensed ambient light conditions. User device charging times when the user device is being charged can be monitored. User device motion including movement of the user device can be monitored. User device activity can be monitored. Color-modified image display times can be ascertained from at least one selected from the user device motion, the user device activity, and the user device charging times. A color-modified image can be generated based on at least the ambient light color conditions and the color-modified image display times. The color-modified image can be displayed.

Method and apparatus for light spectrum filtering

A method, a device, and a computer program product for identifying objects in image data. The device is enabled to, in response to determining that an object type of a first set of object types is represented in the image data, indicate that the object type is represented in captured image data. The device is further enabled to, in response to determining that no object type of the first set of object types is represented in the image data, determine whether the image data comprises an object characteristic of a specific one of a second set of object types. The device is further enabled to, in response to determining that the image data comprises an object characteristic of the specific one of the second set of object types, indicate that the image data comprises an object characteristic of the specific one of the second set of object types.

Identifying object representations in image data

An electronic device includes a voice control interface engine operative in a first mode to receive a speech command, through a microphone, from a first distance and produce, through a loudspeaker and in response to the speech command, an audible output at a first output level. One or more processors are operable with one or more proximity sensors to detect objects proximately located with a housing of the electronic device. Where there are none, a timer can be initiated. Upon expiration of the timer, the one or more processors can then transition the voice control interface engine to a second mode operative to receive the speech command from a second distance and produce, in response to the speech command, the audible output at a second output level, where the second distance is greater than the first distance and the second output level is greater than the first output level.

Method and apparatus for voice control user interface with discreet operating mode

An electronic device includes a voice control interface engine operative in a first mode to receive a speech command, through a microphone, from a first distance and produce, through a loudspeaker and in response to the speech command, an audible output at a first output level. One or more processors are operable with one or more sensors to detect a predefined user input. The one or more processors can then transition the voice control interface engine to a second mode operative to receive the speech command from a second distance and produce, in response to the speech command, the audible output at a second output level, where the second distance is less than the first distance and the second output level less than the first output level.

A method and system for facilitating interaction between an electronic device and a plurality of content provider websites are disclosed. In one embodiment, the method includes receiving at a server a plurality of information portions provided from the websites, where each of the information portions is associated with a respective copy of information that is available at each of the websites. The method also includes aggregating at the server the information portions so that they are combined into an overall grouping, with the respective information portions being maintained respectively as distinct subportions within the grouping. Further, the method includes sending from the server a message for receipt by a part of the electronic device, the primary message including the grouping. The grouping is sent together with an additional copy of the information or with an indication of that information to which the overall grouping relates.
