A divider for a bag includes a generally planar panel, a first attachment mechanism coupled to the panel offset from a first edge of the panel, and a second attachment mechanism offset from a second edge of the panel. The first and second attachment mechanisms each includes a first configuration wherein it extends from the respective first and second edges towards the other of the first and second attachment mechanism, and a second configuration wherein the respective attachment mechanism is rotated to be generally perpendicular to the panel and configured to attach to opposing first and second walls of a bag.

A camera accessory case includes a main body portion and an expandable housing located within the main body portion. By opening and closing the accessory case, the expandable housing correspondingly expands out of and collapses into the main body portion via a built-in sliding mechanism interconnecting the expandable housing and the main body portion. In addition, the expandable housing may be partitioned into at least two compartments for temporarily housing interchangeable camera lenses, thus facilitating exchange of the interchangeable camera lenses.

A backpack is disclosed for carrying a spotting scope or other optic device attached to a tripod. The backpack includes an optics storage compartment having an interior that is accessible from a front of the backpack and first and second tripod leg attachment structures positioned below the optics storage compartment for securing first and second legs of the tripod against a corresponding first and second side of the backpack. When the tripod is attached to the backpack by the first and second tripod leg attachment structures, the spotting scope is positioned to be rotatable into and out of the interior of the optics storage compartment by a user.

Novel devices and methods are provided to dispense the load of a bag or case across a user's shoulder when the user attached a strap to the bag or case. The devices and methods provide a segmented tensile assembly to disperse the load of a bag or case uniformly across the user's body.
