An SCR catalyst for treating diesel exhaust gas has: a flow-through substrate with an inlet end, an outlet end, a substrate axial length extending from the inlet end to the outlet end and a plurality of passages defined by internal walls of the flow through substrate extending therethrough; a first coating disposed on the internal wall surface of the substrate, the surface defining the interface between the internal walls and passages, the first coating extending over 40 to 100% of the substrate axial length, the first coating having an 8-membered ring pore zeolitic material with copper and/or iron; a second coating extending over 20 to 100% of the substrate axial length, the second coating having a first oxidic material with titania, wherein at least 75 wt. % of the second coating is titania, calculated as TiO, and 0 to 0.01 wt. % of the second coating is vanadium oxides, calculated as VO.

The present invention relates to a catalyst for the oxidation of NO, for the oxidation of ammonia, for the oxidation of HC and for the selective catalytic reduction of NOx, comprising a flow through substrate comprising an inlet end, an outlet end, a substrate axial length extending from the inlet end to the outlet end and a plurality of passages defined by internal walls of the flow through substrate extending therethrough; a first coating comprising one or more of a vanadium oxide and a zeolitic material comprising one or more of copper and iron; a second coating comprising a first platinum group metal component supported on a non-zeolitic first oxidic material and further comprising one or more of a vanadium oxide and a zeolitic material comprising one or more of copper and iron; optionally a third coating comprising a second platinum group metal component supported on a second oxidic material; wherein the third coating is disposed on the surface of the internal walls and under the second coating over z % of the axial length of the substrate from the outlet end to the inlet end, with z being in the range of from 0 to 100; wherein the second coating extends over y % of the axial length of the substrate from the inlet end to the outlet end and is disposed either on the surface of the internal walls, or on the surface of the internal walls and the third coating, or on the third coating, with y being in the range of from 95 to 100; wherein the first coating extends over x % of the axial length of the substrate from the inlet end to the outlet end and is disposed on the second coating, with x being in the range of from 20 to y.

The present invention relates to a selective catalytic reduction catalyst for the treatment of an exhaust gas of a diesel engine comprising (i) a flow-through substrate comprising an inlet end, an outlet end, a substrate axial length extending from the inlet end to the outlet end and a plurality of passages defined by internal walls of the flow-through substrate extending therethrough; (II) a coating disposed on the surface of the internal walls of the substrate, where-in the surface defines the interface between the passages and the internal walls, wherein the coating comprises a vanadium oxide supported on an oxidic material comprising titania, and further comprises a mixed oxide of vanadium and one or more of iron, erbium, bismuth, cerium, europium, gadolinium, holmium, lanthanum, lutetium, neodymium, praseodymium, promethium, samarium, scandium, terbium, thulium, ytterbium, yttrium, molybdenum, tungsten, manganese, cobalt, nickel, copper, aluminum and antimony.

The present invention relates to a catalytic article comprising a substrate having a catalyst composition disposed thereon, wherein the catalyst composition comprises a platinum group metal impregnated onto a porous support and a selective catalytic reduction catalyst, wherein the catalyst composition is substantially free of platinum; and wherein the catalytic article is effective in the abatement of nitrogen oxides (NOx) and hydrocarbons (HCs).
