A self-optimizing energy harvester comprises a thermoelectric generator coupling to a thermal source, producing a source voltage greater than a minimum start-up voltage, where the thermoelectric generator drives a boost circuit and a feedforward circuit, delivering power to a load. A conventional boost circuit has a maximum output power only at the input voltage for which a fixed set point resistor is chosen. The feedforward circuit dynamically optimizes the boost circuit according to a dynamic set point resistance, thus increasing output power for a wide range of input voltages, relative to using a fixed reference resistor. The dynamic set point resistance is the sum of a variable resistance and a reference resistance. A sample element forms a differential voltage between the source and input voltage elements, and the variable resistance corresponds to the differential voltage. A reference resistor is chosen to establish the minimum start-up voltage.

An image display system including a plurality of display devices, each with a serial bus port, the plurality of display devices to be provided with image data; a serial bus link coupled with each of the plurality of display devices; and a content source coupled with the serial bus link, the content source to send the image data over the serial bus link to at least one of the plurality of display devices. A bulk end-point is established, through which image data is transferred, and a control end-point is established, through which control data is transferred.

USB image transmission system and device

The present application relates to systems, apparatus and methods for transmitting image data from a content source to an image display in a dual mode system which includes a guest mode and an authorized user mode. One example embodiment comprises establishing a secure connection to a network requiring access credentials, detecting a content source, establishing a non-secure connection to receive image data from the content source, receiving the image data from the content source, and providing the image data to a display, wherein the content source is not provided access over the secure connection.

Residing on the projector server host are a repository for storing presentation data and user profiles, a projector server and three interfaces: a projector interface to communicate with the hosted projector, a host discovery interface to discover other projector server hosts or network enabled projectors on the network, and a host interface to interact with the identified hosts using the facilities of the remote projector and administration method and apparatus. The host discovery interface discovers the identity of other active projector servers or network enabled projectors on the network. The host interface enables clients to get or set information controlling the identified active projector servers or network enabled projectors, including administering the security, operation, and maintenance of the projectors. The projector server serves web content obtained from the three interfaces to clients using a standard web server.
