A cable management arm extension, comprising: a plate including apertures to allow for mounting a cable retainer; a first hinged section to connect to a first section of a cable management arm and to a first side of the plate; and a second hinged section to connect to a second section of a cable management arm and to a second of the plate.

A cable management arm, comprising: a first cable management arm to connect to a first connector of a first rail kit of a computing device and a second cable management arm to connect to a second connector of the first rail kit of the computing device; a connector to pivotally attach to the first cable management arm and the second cable management arm; and a rail kit comprising: a retainer to connect to a connector of a second rail kit of the computing device; an inner slide, wherein the inner slide is pivotally connected to the retainer; and an outer slide, wherein the outer slide is slidably connected to the inner slide, wherein the rail kit pivotally attaches to the connector via a pin.

A cable management arm basket clip, comprising: a latch to secure the cable management arm basket clip to a cable management arm basket; a connection to pivotally connect the cable management arm basket clip to the cable management arm basket; and guards disposed on both sides of the cable management arm basket clip to allow for passage of cables and to protect cables.

Systems and devices for mounting servers are provided. In one aspect, a rack mounting system includes a first mounting bracket attached to a rack. The rack comprises a rack front side and a rack rear side opposite the rack front side. The first mounting bracket is attached to the rack rear side. A rail bracket is attached to a server component mounted in the rack. A second mounting bracket comprises a first end and a second end. The first end is coupled to the first mounting bracket. The second end is coupled to the rail bracket. The second mounting bracket comprises a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. The first surface of the second mounting bracket contacts the first mounting bracket. The second surface of the second mounting bracket contacts the rail bracket.

Multi-directional, low-profile rack mounting system

Examples described herein include handles with extended and retracted positions. In some examples, a handle comprises a housing and a knob. The knob may have a first surface and a circumferential sidewall. The knob may have a retracted position in the housing and an extended position. In the extended position, the circumferential sidewall protrudes from the housing and the knob is rotatable between a first position and a second position.

An example rail kit includes a bracket assembly that is attachable to opposing columns of a device rack, a middle rail that is slidably engaged by the bracket assembly, and an inner rail that is connectable to an electronic device and slidably engaged by the middle rail. The rail kit may include a rail lock that is attached to the bracket assembly and that is to, when the inner rail is not engaged by the middle rail and the middle rail is located at a first position that is forward of a fully retracted position, lock the middle rail by engaging a depression in the middle rail such that the middle rail is prevented from sliding rearward. The rail lock may be released as a result of the inner rail being slid toward a retracted position while engaged by the middle rail.

Rail kits

A rail for mounting a rack-mountable component can include a longitudinal member having a first flange, a spring located proximal to the first end and having an uncompressed state and a compressed state, and a latch having a trigger arm and a cam arm, wherein moving the trigger arm toward the first flange engages the cam arm with the spring to transition the spring from the uncompressed state to the compressed state.

Rail for mounting a rack-mountable component

A release latch apparatus can include a locking mechanism coupled to a first position of a rocker and a spring mechanism coupled to a second position of the rocker.
